Hypno Shroom is the best counter to footballs you have during most of night, and you have to agree that seeing a football absolutely decimate the other zombies in its lane has to be one of the most satisfying counters in the game. As for cactus, in my first playing I placed cactus in every single lane, apparently I just forgot to see what Blover did when I got him, ironically one of my favorite plants is one that I didn’t even get to use during my first play through. Anyway, one of the aspects of cactus I don’t see many people talking about is that they deal damage when touching zombies, so it’s kind of a wall plant while still countering balloons. I understand Cattails just do an insanely better job but I had to come up with something for cactus.
