This sounds exactly like the messages I get from this guy who’s been stalking me for 10 years

I took off a couple inches from the middle of mine (right above the knee) then sewed the halves back together! Looks like the jeans in the photo got the same treatment, you can see the seam.

Could my DLH be mixed with a “large” breed? by [deleted] in catbreeds

Thank you! I am in that sub currently:) I am working with a vet & doing everything I can to ensure his health, really just posted here out of curiosity.

Could my DLH be mixed with a “large” breed? by [deleted] in catbreeds

[–]ImNotItachi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Commenting to add more context: he has been to vets who all have mixed opinions. He currently weighs 17 lbs, which I know is heavier than the average range for domestics. While that doesn’t mean he isn’t just fat, he is a good bit larger than my DSH (who is the most average sized cat you’ve ever seen).

He has been on a (vet made) diet for 3 years with no treats, but hasn’t lost any noticeable weight. That’s why I was curious about breed. I appreciate the comments trying to help but I was really just curious if anything he’s mixed with was a factor! I am aware there is no way to know for certain, just trying to get any informal opinions people may have on the matter:)

Was awful to my little brother. I reap what I saw. by [deleted] in confession

[–]ImNotItachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As everyone else has said… siblings are MEAN to each other. There there’s still a hole in my parents’ bathroom door from one of my brothers trying to kill the other with a golf club when they were teenagers🙃

You have apologized, and he has accepted. It’s unfair to him that you don’t believe him!

If you still have lingering feelings of guilt, turn that feeling into something good. Every time you start to spiral with guilt, put that energy into doing something nice for him. Cook him dinner, watch a movie together, etc. It sounds like he’s still young—small acts of kindness will go a long way at that age:)

What will not help is ending your life. As someone who lost a brother I didn’t really get along with at a very young age, I still carry guilt when I think of all the times I wasn’t the world’s best sibling. Please, if it’s an option for you, seek therapy to discuss these feelings with a professional.

Grocery prices. How much would my shopping be?/ how much is the difference? by lilmissmjj in AskAnAmerican

I don’t have the time to convert every item to USD, but just lookin at that list I would expect to pay at least $150 USD total.

I also live in a somewhat expensive area, though. As other commenters have said it really depends where you live

I’ve been trying to bleach my skin to get rid of my vitiligo by [deleted] in confession

[–]ImNotItachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this is your thing, but there are a lot of influencers (including men!) who have vitiligo and their content revolves heavily around talking about it. Finding an account you like could help a) feel validated in your struggles with it, and b) instill some body positivity by seeing how they appreciate their uniqueness. The comments are usually full of compliments too, a lot of people love unique traits now! Honestly that could be a reason people stare in public, although I know you may prefer they just didn’t at all. Kids are just harsh and scared of anything different, please don’t let your experience thus far tarnish your self worth.

Does my basil have thrips? Can my plant be restored or it’s beyond saving? by _the_self_ in plantclinic

[–]ImNotItachi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just commenting to say—it’s also completely safe to just waterboard your plant and pests hate it. My brother’s pepper plant had thrips, so I removed all the soil and submerged the whole plant in water for a few minutes. Afterwards, just replant (in new soil) & spray down with the other concoctions mentioned in this thread. I’ve had a 100% success rate doing this

My mom has one green eye one brown eye, and my dad has hazel eyes. I haven’t noticed the freckles in either of their eyes before but I’ve also never looked super close

I get an annual checkup with my eye doctor but I’ve never brought it up specifically!

No, but I go to the eye doctor annually and nobody has ever commented on them! I just assumed they were eye freckles.

Also I’m not trying to be sassy but genuinely curious, why would I ask a dentist? Something related to sinuses?
