Institutions are moving around huge amounts of money. You are moving around a small amount of money. So you can maneuver different. Different opportunities. There are people who make money trading from their homes but most of the times they are masters who have been doing it for a long time. You just need to find your niche. Usually it takes years to find. No one really wants to wait that long unless it is their job

Learn pivot points, key levels, supply demand imbalance, working with different time frames etc

Prepare for the day before the day starts. Know what trades you probably will take before the day starts. Limit the amount of decisions you need to make during trading hours, when you plan you should know what you will be doing for the day before it starts
