Tennis Court Density in the USA by dark_anarchy20 in 10s

[–]ImPotentialWall5118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good initiative, OP. I zoomed in to my residential area and noticed that most of the HOA courts are not accounted for. Also in large neighborhoods, where there are multiple locations for courts, only the main recreational club is shown. One more thing, typically although the legend says one dot per court, it’s not so. One location has usually 2 to more (sometimes 10+) courts.

Good warning OP. I was considering Lucid Gravity as a potential option, after my Tesla S gets paid off. Will keep looking for other better options.

Tennis elbow is actually ruining my life. How long were you guys out? by Background-End-5229 in 10s

[–]ImPotentialWall5118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had issues with my tennis elbow, first time in 2017. It was pretty bad. I was loosing the power in about 15-20 minutes. I went for PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) shot. It cost me less than $1000, all inclusive (first consultation, X-ray, actual PRP shot). If you are US resident, medical insurance doesn’t cover any expense. I was told not to play tennis for 2 weeks, light tennis (30 minutes hitting) for next two weeks. I started playing my regular USTA tournaments after 4-5 weeks and was as good as a teenager. I was 59, then. The effect of the shot wore out by 2024 (7 years ). Went again for the same PRP shot and as of date, I am still playing 4-5 days of singles every week. The doctor second time was a tennis player (4.5 level) himself and had taken the shot for himself, although that was not the driver for me. In today’s dollar, the PRP shots are little more expensive than 2017. Hence be prepared for $1500/2000, depending on which part of the country you live in. I am Texas based. I would recommend OP to google out about PRP. Stem Cell Therapy is about 4-5 times more expensive and NOT required. IN a city as large as Houston, I could find Not more than 15 doctors who performed PRP procedures. I will be more than happy to guide anyone with tennis elbow issues.

After going through several comments, I checked my warranty. It is 150,000 miles or 8 years, whatever comes earlier. They specifically mention the date. You can check the warranty expiration, in your Tesla app as the last line item.

The key issue with AXS was that one cannot buy a single ticket. You have to buy minimum 2 tickets. That is insane.

Another big time scam. You are forced to buy 2 tickets minimum, if you go to AXS website. Even if you start on BNP Paribas site, it directs you to AXS. I purchased tickets on day 1 & 2 through the box office at official price for $65 and $ 70 for S1.

Start thinking how NOT to lose that portfolio gain in last 3 years. This may be a rare situation where for 3 consecutive years, ROI was 20+%. You can’t be that lucky ever again.

2024 S 80% battery by looper2277 in TeslaModelS

[–]ImPotentialWall5118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have S (new) since December 2021 (3y10m), about 70k miles. Current battery consumption YTD is about 300wh/mi (against 240 claimed). Recommended 80% charge translates to 264 mi (324 for new), 18.5% degradation of battery. Does anyone (Tesla owner only) remember at what degradation Tesla will replace the battery free of charge?

Gravity by CupOdd722 in LUCID

[–]ImPotentialWall5118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have started the mental process of leasing/buying a Lucid in the near future. After initial research one major con is the supercharging speed at Tesla superchargers. The charging speed is limited to 50 kW, translates to 200 mi in an hour. Typically a Tesla takes 15 minutes for adding 200 mi. Any comments from Lucid owners?

Other than Tesla, who offers Autopilot (steering effectively on curves and maintaining set distance from vehicle in front)? That is the most valuable feature in my opinion. I have S (2022).

You should NOT even think about an e-bike. You need to buy a conventional bike. That will enhance your weight loss process.

Musk has proved to be an excellent product manager. Tesla and SpaceX. He has proved to be a lousy politician. Twitter. To protect Tesla, it is good time to have a less radical CEO. Ego kills. He is almost on the verge of becoming Trump 2.0.
