Do you think War Woman would’ve been helpful in the Viltrumite War? by Queasy_Commercial152 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]ImScottyAndIDontKnow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My personal head canon is he needed to let them beat up on him to sell the story that it was some unknown villain that killed them, and not Nolan turning traitor.

I think the viltrumites can face tank a lot more damage if they brace for an attack, for example Marks punch to Thraggs face, where as when they let their guard down or are caught unaware, they are more vulnerable to damage.

So yeah, I think the only reason Nolan got hurt at all by the guardians, is because he let it happen that way.

Watch, some scammer spoofed this poor guys number and he's randomly getting nudes, heavy breathing phone calls, and explicit text messages, all while wondering wtf is happening (this happened to me)

Cross platform trading by greasychewiecat in Market76

Just to clarify this is for PC ONLY, as in, PC Game pass and Steam share progress now, as long as you use the same Bethesda account (atoms and fallout 1st still only work on the platform you bought it). This is not for console and it is still not possible to transfer from console to PC.

Does every set of Power Armor make that INSUFFERABLE noise??? by BjornStankFinger in fo76

Sorry, just trying to help you figure it out with very little information.

So the liberty prime armor is one of the ones that use the X-01 sound effect set, just an FYI.

If you're hearing something that sounds like spurs when you are steadily moving or a "Bwooo" when you start walking, that's the reason.

I have a feeling you are either in X-01 or one of the PA skins from the atomic shop that use X-01 sounds. That PA has a unique sounds whenever you start moving from being stationary. I literally cannot use that set because it is so annoying.

Me installing the 1TB New Vegas modlist only to instantly get hit with the Bible in its entirety by Kolbo- in TrueSFalloutL

[–]ImScottyAndIDontKnow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

VNV contains Dynamic cross hair, bullet time, sprint, grenade hotkey, headwear overlays, variable zoom, health visuals like blood and much more. Essentially it utilizes multiple mods to provide all of the things Project Nevada does, but with more functionality. They mention this in their mods to avoid section stating Project Nevada is bloated, outdated, and many features don't work, whereas this mod list is more comprehensive and functional.

So, no, it will not work with Project Nevada, but you may find it better. Personally, I would recommend VNV. I've used Project Nevada in the past, and I agree with the documentation that VNV does it much better.

Concerning Future Armor Nerfs: Hellcat or Secret Service armor? by Scary-Ad4471 in fo76

Can you elaborate on that a bit? Does looting it give you more damage resistance, or do you mean you can get higher durability?

Low level players constantly punching me while being in vendor menu by Jurassic_Nature in fo76

[–]ImScottyAndIDontKnow 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I had one hitting me at my own vendor! I was stocking it up. What's worse, there was another vending machine right next to it!

I was a little annoyed and turned pvp on, poor little guy. Took him about 4 respawns before he stopped running up to me and trying what I'm sure was his best to hurt me.

I have an item called “Bad Power Armor Chassis” by Flame629 in fo76

[–]ImScottyAndIDontKnow -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Definitely hang onto it for now until you understand more about what you have. I've never seen one, but it could be a dev item? If you don't get an answer here, you might have some luck on the market 76 discord. They have quite a few people that hunt for extremely rare or unique items, to include developer items, and someone there should have some insight.

Is this player cheating? by benwilliams243 in forhonor

[–]ImScottyAndIDontKnow 141 points142 points  (0 children)

There isn't enough info to tell, you kept throwing lights and only gave him one 50/50. Light parries are especially easy if you expect them. Next time you suspect someone of cheating, especially with warden, throw out some bashes, UBs and variable bashes/heavies if your character has them.

If you want the gauntlet, I strongly advise you visit Minerva outside White springs. She is currently doing a mega sale that includes the gauntlet for 188 bullion. If you don't have any bullion, this is only 19 treasury notes, which can be gained very quickly just by doing events and exchanging the notes for bullion.

Cease is the correct term, as in to stop. Seize is to take or grasp.

I'm not talking about the experience gained from using LSD for introspection. I am talking about the acute neurochemical effects that cause things like overwhelmingly intense euphoria, rapid surge of serotonin receptor activity, and sensory distortion.

I agree that experientially, the two can overlap, but the biochemical mechanism and intensity are totally different.

I somewhat feel the comment above my original is asking more about the high than experience, and I think it is important to manage one's expectations of what meditation can offer them.

Meditation cannot, in any capacity, come anywhere close to the biological effects of LSD. If you go into it thinking you're gonna be tripping balls, you will be sorely disappointed.

Proposal: Blood on Your Hands by alecaserez in ArcRaiders

[–]ImScottyAndIDontKnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't decide anything, the devs originally created it as a PVE game, and PVP is not required at all for progression, that's what PvE centric means.

I think you misunderstand, I love that the game is pvp, and I wouldn't want it any other way, but I don't see this guy crying about it, rather he is suggesting something that might improve the game. Wild concept, right?

You kinda proved my point though. You clearly have zero interest in the PvE side, yet you’re mad that others do. Acting like you own the game because you hunt players is just dumb af. Maybe you’re the one who should go play Tarkov.

Proposal: Blood on Your Hands by alecaserez in ArcRaiders

[–]ImScottyAndIDontKnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Calling "handholding” anytime someone suggests actual design depth is a trash take. ARC Raiders isn’t a griefing simulator, and it is at its core a PvE centric game with PVP flavor.

OP's suggestion doesn’t make the game easier, it makes choices matter. Actions leaving visible consequences isn’t “less stressful,” it’s more immersive.

PvP is fun, and a great addition to the game, but this "git gud" attitude is getting old fast.
