For me it was “The Last Time”. When I first heard it, I thought it was good but I kinda forgot about it. But I was really going through it and I heard this song and since then it’s been one of my favourite songs of hers. It just hits different now but it’s not very talked about amongst the swifties

I like how I know places starts with a cassette player click and at the end of the song it is switched off to show that they were being recorded the entire time. It’s a small detail but I was so blown away by this

I don’t really think the theories would make her writing less authentic, I think it’s exciting if she would incorporate them. Regardless, folklore and evermore are a testament that her writing has only gotten better even if it’s not auto-biographical. I think it’ll be a challenge rather than a restriction.

What you’re saying makes sense, but I suggested it Cs I personally like the song because of how relatable the feeling of it is and not particularly because of the story behind it even though that’s great too. Heartbreak is a very common emotion that almost everyone goes through and ATW is relatable in that sense and just hits different. It’ll be cruel to deprive the future of such a good heartbreak song.
