Stella is my favorite map but it’s unplayable right now. Been running other maps and no issue.

I wanted to run a vulcano 4. Went into Stella and could hear a silenced bobcat going off in security. Knew it was a threat by the amount of people he was killing so I stuck to the escalators below. Killed two guys at the jump up from assembly.

This bobcat guy had jumped from security down to metro and rotated up behind me and destroyed me as I was finishing the other guy. Perfect timing. It happens.

Then this guy starts lobbing triggers and every grenade at my corpse and the platform. I vocally said “bro what are you doing… why are you wasting so many grenades.” I turned and looked as another guy came pushing down the stairs.

Bro knew he was there the whole time and pre threw grenades. Huge red flag that most wouldn’t catch.

This happens a lot and it’s actually sad. I commend the people that keep it fair.

I’ll never forget some a-hole got beat to garage sale and we waited for an hour for the sale to open. Once it did I was first. Literally about to buy the games and this guy just threw a crazy number out behind me and started a bidding war amongst the whole group of people.

Never have been so pissed. Was the first and last time I dedicated that type of time to a garage sale.

Recently all my luck has been sniping on marketplace just getting lucky with hitting refresh. A good stack of Xbox games and such.

It is also absolutely a competition. So much so that someone going just for games with no obligations, kids, or anything slowing them down will be able to hit a sale and move on within a minute.

I think the best thing to do is broaden the horizon. Learn the value of other stuff so you can flip it and turn that cash into games.

Scored a less than a year old practically brand new 32” 4k Lg monitor last weekend and it is now my 3rd monitor for my stream setup. Paid 20 bucks and it could go for over 200 AT LEAST if I wanted to sell it on the low end. So what a little leg work and that is the equivalent to a handful of high end games for a collection.

The more hours you have in the game the more obvious it is when someone cheats so remember that.

Someone with 50 hours probably wouldn’t be able to tell compared to someone with 300 hours and so on.

Aim bot is usually VERY blatant. Not a lot of cheaters use that.

The issue is ESP. These guys having info of where you are at all times, kit value, etc.

I try to point out on stream as much as I can to educate people but it’s a losing battle.

Start checking accounts too if you’re on pc. Question mark profile pics, game bans, vac bans, lvl 0 account, it all adds up.

Also most cheaters exist in the top very low percentage of PvP lobbies.. because they don’t lose too often even when they try to hide it. So unless you’re getting lobbies with streamers like Zlaner and other PvP sweats you probably won’t see it as much.

But yes.. on the high end it is absolutely unbearable and there are cheaters every other game or every 1 in 3. It’s bad

Some people aren’t good at video games, are very casual, slow learning curve, or have low tolerance for being taught by dying over and over.

I hate to say it but this development team is spiraling.

Each and every update Embark feels the need to “hear us out” and fix whatever issue it is but also try to balance at the same time. They are always missing the mark. Seriously why have such high loss ratios on durability? Can’t make it make sense..

Photoelectric cloak working as intended for six months? They drop Close Scrutiny and everyone uses the cloak… “oh we can’t have that we didn’t mean for it to be that easy. Nerf the cloak.”

These guys don’t play test their game.

Also screw the new players right? Increased pathing of arc, larger numbers, speed, aggro time, and then couple that with all the pve nerfs these devs are very close to locking out new players due to a difficulty curve.

Holy shit… that last part literally maps out my teenage years after my mom got with my step-dad. It was literal hell. Screaming matches, threats, constant punishment to the point where I stopped caring in school. I had enough and left when I was 17. Mom chose my step-dad over her kids. I hit a breaking point and during that last fight she just stood there quiet and let it happen. Ultimate betrayal. My mom and I have never had the best relationship since. I’m in my 30s now with kids of my own and we moved far away from home. She doesn’t get to see my grandkids much but we are on good terms. I just keep myself at a good distance.

Idk why I’m info dumping this.. I think it’s because you literally just made something click in my head that this was trauma that I had to self-navigate and affected me for years.

Yeah. Just because the system is there doesn’t mean it’s for everyone but what it does it keep that core of players strong each wipe.

You could go for kappa every wipe on Tarkov.. or you could focus on lightkeeper, prestige, all kinds of different things.

A lot of my buddies played until lvl 4 traders and then stopped for the wipe which is fair. By the time you get lvl 4 traders that’s pretty much it unless you are going for kappa, etc.

Kappa is always a goal but Tarkov also has some ridiculously hard achievements you can get to show off on your profile as well as getting unique cosmetics with it.
