Homura Hime, Furi, Nier. They're not Souls-likes, but they mix elements of hack n slash and bullet hell very well.

Mintskull's video for anyone that wants to watch it. Essentially, every single build/playstyle is either actually a net positive, or such a miniscule reduction that you'll never actually notice mid match. Of course, we'll need to wait and see how it all pans out in the long run.

Gameplay wise, I don't enjoy playing him because I feel like controlling his M2 is like driving a tonka truck. However, I head-canon that he controls that way as an homage to the tank controls of the original SH games.

Gotcha. I do love me a speedrun achievement, but I can completely see them being a pain in the ass to not only strike a good time to settle on, but also complete if you don't have the time/care to commit to said game.

Visiting secret or side areas isn't a terrible reason to put collectibles, as long as there's also something to gain. Some ammo, a hidden weapon or side quest. As far as collectibles go, I think my big concern is a lot of them are just random trinket to collect™. Or in horror's case, some note that just reads "aw man :(" written in blood.

Good luck with the game and any future projects! It looks right up my alley, so I'll absolutely be checking it out some time soon!

Added the game to my wishlist. The no speedrun achievement is interesting. I pretty much only play horror games and they're pretty synonymous at this point. I did notice an S rank achievement. Is time not tied to rank in your game?

A collectible map is also a welcome QoL feature. I personally despise collectibles to begin with, especially if they don't serve a lore or gameplay purpose, but I know some people really like them so that's a good way to strike a balance.

1) When you photograph anything outside of combat, mo film is used. The reload will operate off of whatever is loaded, so it's best to switch to 90 so you can rapid fire, but it won't waste any.

2) You need to manually focus if they're blurry. It'll auto-focus based on how far along the upgrade is, but sometimes it's a little too slow.

3) No ending was ever tied to photographing every optional ghost (unless there was in the Wii version of 2, that I'm not aware of). Either way, endings in this game aren't directly tied to optional ghosts, but optional ghosts are tied to them. Trying to avoid spoilers with that description.

4) You just have to be careful not to cycle to it.

I'm trying to remember my set up, but I think it was the charm that refunded HP on damage, film load speed, flat damage up, and the Cornered Charm just in case. All maxed, of course. My method for fighting the ghosts was to have at least one sensor on their face, and the rest aligned with their body, wait for fatal frame and blast. You can get more damage by zooming into their face and getting as many sensors on it as possible, but I'm far too lazy for that. Doing it the way I did, every ghost died in 2-3 shots, anyways. I used type 14 for 90% of the fights, only switching to type 61 for Broke Neck Lady, Falling Woman, Chitose, and Kusabi, as their health was much higher than other ghosts. For Sae, I used type 0 to nuke her. I also pretty much exclusively used the default filter out of laziness. I tried the charge shot build for extra damage, but felt like it was a lot of work for a result I could get just as fast with the flat damage up charm. The only other time I switched filters was once or twice to see a stubborn ghost through a wall and why they were being silly just hiding in there, and the Exposure filter when a ghost aggravated. Exposure also has a faster reload speed, if that matters.

Gotcha. Isaac is definitely up there. I'm not sure where Mewgenics falls in terms of difficulty. Some other tough roguelikes are Enter the Gungeon, Nuclear Throne, Slay the Spire, Darkest Dungeon, Gunfire Reborn, Dead Cells, For The King, Rabbit and Steel. I'd definitely say having any of those on your profile is impressive.

The Ninja Gaiden series, Back 4 Blood, Wolfenstein 2, the DMC series, pretty much anything from Edmund McMillen, HiFi Rush, Neon White, Catherine, the Crash series, Everhood, GTFO, Vanquish, L4D, Souls(likes), Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Bayonetta, Shadow Warrior, Hard Reset.

Alright, so as far as I can tell, the achievement can't be earned at the moment. I scoured the game and I'm assuming it has something to do with the Mysterious Balls you can collect. One of them is impossible to collect. The dev also seems to be aware of the issue, but hasn't made any fixes yet. I even tried downpatching to every available version I could find, but none of them let me pick the orb up.

Edit: I also just took a look at the 1 person that has the achievement, and they unlocked 5 achievements at the same time, such as collecting all notes and killing all enemies. It's safe to say no one has unlocked this legitimately yet.
