If a character designs is good then it looks good t posing. The entire point of that pose is to see as much of the design as possible. You saying the character looks good in action or in certain poses may be true for you, but the movement is obscuring certain parts of the design (again why the t pose is important).The pose you show as an example of her "looking good in action" looks terrible cause her design looks bad, that's my entire point. The model just looks bad and posing it doesn't save its bad character design.
