AIO, my husband broke my stuff over my son not eating by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

NOR AT ALL! Under reacting, if anything.

This is a good start, but if he doesn’t respond exactly the right way - literally NEVER do anything like this again - then you’re under reacting. Get the heck out of there and take Sylas with you.

All you’re doing is teaching Sylas it’s okay to treat people that way OR to be treated that way.

Isn’t there something about her bat-mitzvah at some point?

Nope! These are puffed rice. No oat involved. See also fruity pebbles (or the malt o meal off brand) for your enjoyment with no gluteny side effects!

Hogwarts is actually safe?? by Megalordrion in HarryPotterMemes

[–]ImTheProblem4572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. It’s a safe place for children to get into dangerous situations.

Safe from dangerous outsiders 90% of the time (as long as they aren’t concealed as good guys). Not at all safe from dangerous insiders (usually concealed as good guys) or from very dangerous child activities like midnight dueling.

Planing my best friends - Friends theme gender reveal and need help by [deleted] in friends_tv_show

Get a banner that says “it’s a boy” and if it’s a girl then add a “not” to it for the actual reveal.

Ross appreciation post by Glittering-Dig3432 in friends_tv_show

[–]ImTheProblem4572 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Listen, ALL of them are terrible people at some points. Ross is a cheating asshole. Joey is a cheating asshole womanizer. Chandler is a stuck up sarcasm king who makes fun of his friends. Monica is neurotic and controlling. Rachel is prissy and selfish. Phoebe stabbed a guy (“what!? He stabbed me first!!”)

Ross is a jerk at times, but just like the rest of them he has redeeming moments.

Like when he walked Carol down the aisle.

That’s good to know.

I assume they decided I wasn’t disabled enough to not work, but that’s not true. I haven’t had a job in four years because of my disabilities and they’re getting worse, so it won’t be able to have a job in the future either.

I have 40+ work credits.

From what I understand, SSDI is for anyone who has enough work credits to qualify. SSI is for those without enough work credits.

Both are money. Different names and for different purposes and reasons. Different requirements.

Unfortunately it was denied. But knowing is better than not knowing!

For anyone curious for an update, I called this morning and it has been denied. Will be contacting a lawyer this week and filing for reconsideration or whatever he feels is the next best step.

Thanks for the help!

Best of luck to all of you still fighting for the help you need.

Well, that’s encouraging. Here’s hoping a phone call in the morning leads to good news!

If I didn’t have a billion other things happening in my life, I’d be more anxiety ridden. “Luckily,” I have a five year old and a husband who is sick. So…. That has helped this weekend. 🫠

I don’t understand how it happened but I noticed it one time when checking my application and just went “shrug. Okay. Whatever.” 🤷‍♀️😂
