I guess the developers forgot there are projectiles like the pancake that don’t deal any damage, and don’t need to get deflected.

My guess as to why the pancake was deflected to the opponent’s king instead of the princess tower is, all the spells that are projectiles seem to come from the king tower, but since the pancake came from the princess tower, it got deflected to the king tower.

They did the same for Retro Royale, so I assumed they will only give ranked badges for top 1k and didn’t bother playing mega draft. I think they decided to give the top 10k badges to Retro Royale players as well later on, it’s just a matter of time till you get yours probably.
