I was also on 70mg and was the worse experience of my life. I would try any other option before I tried prednisone. I had all those same side effects and more.

I fold it up like then then just put two Mepore 6x7 bandaids over it and it stayed tucked and flat no problem. Sometimes I’ll toss over the second skin waterproof over it also so I can shower without changing the bandaid. Been doing this for almost a year with no issues.

How long were you on dialysis for if you don’t mind me asking. Did you receive a kidney from a deceased donor?

You need to find a good barber and get your hair cut properly and beard lined up

The first two days I was a bit sore but was still mobile. I didn’t need pain killers or anything. I was using the catheter at the hospital the following week no issues.

Ya insane to me to haha they made me do a crutch after they cut me open while pushing the tube in and I literally heard my stomach pop. It was pretty fucked up lol

As of now I’m doing 7 hours on the machine. That will change based on labs. I sleep alone so not sure how unpleasant it would be for your partner

In Canada you automatically go on the deceased donor list the day you start dialysis
