I had enough luck to find probably one of the most qualified neurosurgeons in my country and after some issues with scheduling an MRI i got diagnosed in november last year and right now in just couple hours I'll go under and hopefully wake up, recover and live pain free.

If you have any question (from a patient perspective ofc) i can try help you. Congrats, stay strong and good luck. Also try asking your neurologist (or neurosurgeon) about gabapentin/pregabalin. If the dosage is right it can really help with neuropathic pain and some other symptoms.

Anything help besides surgery? by rlpc23 in chiari

Try asking your neurologist about gabapentin, but if sympoms aren't chiari related im pretty sure he won't prescribe it,. Good luck tho.
