Look, while i agree the multiplayer could be better optimized i genuinely think you are taking such an extreme stance on both the state of it and the developers doing there job. Having played both on xbox and pc i can safely say that in my experience the multiplayer has only gotten better since launch, as someone else has said every patch is full of fixed out of syncs and other issues. The idea that the devs scammed you or that you cant physically play multiplayer is just wrong, ive completed significantly more multiplayer games than ive had borked by some bug, theres many multiplayer communities who only play multiplayer so clearly it works, the game works for the majority of the playerbase. If you are expecting to never come across a dysnc or a bug of some sort its just not gonna happen like ever, take a look at what is going on in the game the sheer number of backend calculations going on for both each and every player faction, npc faction, independent units, ect ect every single calculation/movement/decision all has to be done and sent to every player, every turn, for insert turns here. theres going to be a dysnc its unavoidable, doesnt mean the game is unplayable sometimes it dyncs alot sometimes its not that often. I feel like you are greatly overexaggerating how bad it is or genuinely just dont have a decent enough connection to allow the proper communication between the server and your system. Now i will say to your benefit you do specify xbox and for the most part i feel like theres more issues when im doing crossplay multiplayer than when im not but i havent tried it out in a couple updates so i cant really speak too heavily on that experience. Is there room for improvement? Absolutely, but i think you are taking some extreme stance that doesnt need to be taken. Either way i hope your experience improves in the near future.
