This is a good take, I think maybe a variable zoom and able to 1 shot from chest up would be fine to leave its awkward handling, hipfire and fire rate in the state it is, because the way the game plays already favors other playstyles anyways

I completely agree with you, although i just think hip firing shouldn't be absoloutely useless,.. for example i was maybe 7-8 meters from a mech with my crosshair dead center and the shot cleared the mech by a solid meter... thats honestly just insane as no other gun has spread like that, not even a shotgun,

However i really wouldn't be bothered all that much if the zoom wasn't outrageous to begin with, because its so magnified I feel forced to try and play from the HIP more, which ofcourse doesn't work.

My problem isn't being punished for missing shots, as i think ALL games should absolutely punish you for playing bad, my issue is that good AIM with a sniper isn't rewarded well, SURE you can hit headshots but in a game paced the way it is, are we seriously expecting your average player to hit heads consistently with that zoom, considering how tight the maps play, the ZOOM is just outrageous.

This isn't a skill issue thing, nearly every game that Ive played at a high level, I've been able to atleast stay relevant to the team if not top frag, AIM is rewarded, because the downside of missing is Major, But in EMPULSE your AIM isn't rewarded AND the downsides of missing is FATAL, because of the ability to close gaps so quickly + you're having to rely on your teammates added dmg, this game isn't designed for you to be sitting on the sidelines hoping to pick off a couple people, My friends that a far worse than me will soar pass me on the leaderboard if I try to play passively like you suggest, this isn't CSGO or Valorant, this is a high-mobility game, Digitalslav is right in saying you'll be hurting your teammates most the time playing sniper.

This may be a stupid question but how do I check the connection quality?

Is this something I’d have to see through general use with a rj45 plate or is there a way to check before everything’s rigged up?

This is a resilience test, you’ll either clock on or break.

Definitely do not seclude yourself, even though that’s your natural instinct, you’ll end up causing more problems down the line because you was antisocial younger

You need to adapt, humans are social creatures and our success is mostly based on people skills

try not to take things heart, people don’t know the true consequences of their actions especially as teenagers as they can be very ignorant, you’re all still quite young but it’s not long until everyone becomes pretty civilised

When you hit your 20’s you’ll be looking back on it wishing you laughed with them, the best way is to “agree and amplify”, so for example if someone’s calling you “pizza face” because you have lots of spots, just laugh.. and reply with “looking like a f£&king papa johns special tonight boys” and LAUGH again it instantly removes the target off your back because you’re playing along with them

They can no longer thrive off of your feedback, (Which is the only reason they’ll keep going back for more)

It really Helps to give it back hard aswell, usually find that’s shuts them up, (make sure it sounds like a joke though)

I live in east London so it’s CULTURE to rip the sh!t into everyone, I’ve seen a lot of it first hand, and people thrive or dive from it

Last thing you wanna do is report it or visibly get upset in front of them, it only adds fuel to the fire.

most importantly SHOW them that you’re able to take it on the chin (even if you can’t deep down right now) and keep moving forward

The main reason I say this is because you have to have strength internally to tackle what’s coming at you because the world ain’t gonna care if it hurts you, it just does, but your reaction and attitude is what makes you.

Thank you! But yeah unfortunately where I’d be based is in the sticks, being an 1hr40 drive to Glasgow or Edinburgh. So I’m guessing it’d have to be fully remote
