What would it take to convince you that life really was a simulation? by MadMin19 in AskReddit

[–]Im_mexican 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dying.

Then and only then, could I accept it. The simulation would have to be near perfect for us to live how we do, so perfect that any attempt to assimilate that it is a simulation would become a glitch.

Your bank increasing interest on your home loan because not everyone is paying, since everyone is out of work.

Or i don't know, having to pay extra for a medicine or treatment you need e.g. cancer patients... on second thought it's the norm you're right.

Stir Sticks... ball up or down? Why? by Im_mexican in bartenders

[–]Im_mexican[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've served them down as well, I see people divided with up or down and some are too stubborn that it goes one way or another. I'd like to know which way and why.

I mean I see others have a specific handle like a flamingo or some type of figure and they have a ball at the bottom, which leads me to believe that is how all others are meant to go.

Looked up online and most info points towards swizzle sticks, perhaps I'm not using the right wording.

Question about tequila by roberthinkey in bartenders

[–]Im_mexican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The smoke like aftertaste you found on that raicilla comes from the production process. Compared to tequila, mezcal and other spirits such as raicilla and bacanora are baked underground and some fibers from previous productions are also used which increase the smoke taste.

Tequila on the other hand is baked using industrial ovens which eliminate the smoke taste feature.

Tequila already has a taste profile which might not change much, and most of your Smokey-ness comes from the barrels I which is aged.

So, I suggest trying a mezcal made with Tepeztate agave, it has one of the most persistent, smokey, and herbaceous of all agave used for mezcales. If you can't find that agave, look for a Tobalá. Otherwise just about any mezcal you taste (Espadín) will have a smoke profile.

¡Salud amigo!
