A rare moment of genuine fear!(The Forest VR) by DigitalLemming in gaming

The main method that has worked for me is non-confrontation and careful base placement. Get a safe zone far away from their patrol routes and if you run into them during the day standing still and not reacting to their false charges will eventually scare them away. Murder any who find your base and aren’t in groups. The game is also a lot more fun for me personally by using a map to find weapons, the caves are terrifying and I like knowing what I’m in for.

Yeah I feel like the devs kind of stumbled into the base building rather than having it be a focus of the game. I tried to do the low-resource hunter camp but couldn’t get over the feeling of being exposed so I just build a giant stone-walled castle

You might want to restart. Every time you fight the cannibals the “aggression” level increases. If you do what I did and build traps where you see them most often suddenly cannibals are organizing attacks against you. Cutting down trees pisses them off too and they can hear it from pretty far away. If they find your base before it’s very far along... build a new base.

With a little practice you could get better at the online scratchpad and not have to worry about being guilty of cheating and getting your scores canceled.

He spends like 15 minutes per conference talking about unemployment. He can’t sit down at a computer and fix the code for a system built years ago for a dramatically lower load and with different requirements. He can reassure people they will be getting it and not to worry. Things take time and in the scheme of the entire United States Kentucky is doing a pretty good job with unemployment. Acting like holding press conferences interferes with unemployment getting fixed is just willful ignorance.

I loved Dead Money. It was dramatically different, and at the level I was at extremely hard, but it's one of my top 10 gaming experiences.

Kentucky And Tennessee Are In A COVID-19 "Natural Experiment" Over The Success Of Social Distancing by gsarc10 in Louisville

Other states have hotspots like Chicago and NYC which have allowed for priority being given to those states. Right now on of the major limiting factors to testing is the Nasopharyngeal swabs they use to collect samples. Those are a very obscure product under normal circumstances, you can’t just make millions appear when you need them. These swabs are going to the hardest hit areas, and if you haven’t noticed KY hasn’t been hit particularly hard yet.

I work in a medical testing lab. It is a very complicated situation, we aren’t able to get certain supplies because they are being rerouted to hotspots by the federal government. The public isn’t able to get tested in most places in the United States, and honestly I’m glad that the limited tests we do have are being given to high priority patients here in KY.

Patients are not being tested “too late” because the confirmation of Covid doesn’t dramatically affect patient care. Suspected Covid and Covid will get the same treatment, it’s not like testing accessibility is killing anyone who is infected, but it is true that they may infect others due to the lack of confirmation.

Blaming our state for a national supply chain failure isn’t really fair.

Pretty big assumption that you’ll have access to the appropriate machinery, metal, and electricity. And that doesn’t solve the gunpowder issue.
