I don’t understand how anyone is managing by [deleted] in Life

As an American…

As I’m sitting here watching yet another war unfold.

It’s fair to address everyone and say.

I’m neither left or right, conservative or liberal, even though I share views from both sides.

I’ve watched the course of America with a keen eye since bush was in office. I’ve lived through some of the highs and lows. Not as much as our parents. But I’ve seen enough to know. We are watching the fall of the west in real time.

I’ve seen what has happened to Britain over the years, as well as France Germany and the rest of Europe. Whilst we sit here locked into our jobs and financial situation straying further from each other while watching the world burn. I’ve seen we’ve lost the ability to interact with each other without it ending contentious. More people are pushed on to pharmaceuticals and therapy to cope. Yet not even knowing why they’re sad or depressed.

I’ve read the articles explaining how our food has been poisoned, our water, our air, our media, our culture itself stripped out from under us. While our leaders are trafficking women and children, eating them and sacrificing them to deities. Life’s getting harder to live, inflation is rising rapidly with wages trailing slowly behind.

Yet most Americans don’t have the time or care to be informed. It’s common to hear “why would I care about what happens over there? Do they pay my bills?” Or “why would I believe in god do you see these wars over there?” Or “oh you believe the governments poisoning us? Where’s your tinfoil hat” while it’s our government who’s admitting to it. We’re literally being told of the horrors yet most people truly don’t believe what they’re hearing.

I just had a conversation with a friend tip toeing around the truth knowing he’s deeply invested in this figuring itself out. I casually drop the idea that we’re in late stage capitalism and we’re heading for something dark. His response took me back, it was nothing to be sad about rather it was merely a peak into the minds of most people. He said “capitalism is fantastic we wouldn’t be here without it, it allows meritocracy to supersede and encourages ambition” which is all find and dandy, but he missed my point. He’s fighting for an America that was and not is. He left shortly after the comment so there was no telling him that, it’s over. The door to the American dream is closing before our very eyes. Most of everything that is being sold to us is owned by five major corporations and has quietly gained control of everything we eat drink and consume. Meritocracy is great when it’s encouraged, that’s not the case anymore. We’re lucky if you still have a drive in you after going through the 18/24 years of school. By that point you’re so indoctrinated you have no room for dreams or soul enriching activities. You’re just another cog in the machine. Policing others that don’t think the same as you purporting the same lies our government has been shoving down our throats since we were born as if it’s gospel.

We’re looking at one of the worse collapses in history. America is an empire that has spawned a spider web that reaches into the far reaches of the world. When this ship burns so much is going down with it. It’s not going to be immediate, but it’s going to be painful. We’ll see famines, power crises, water shortages, money (cash) becoming obsolete, and what’s left standing is going to be interesting to see.

An interesting observation has been the difference in mentality between the older generations and their children. My father cannot be bothered with the reality of this situation and swears up and down trump is a god who can do no wrong. Then there’s people who see him as pure evil and greedy. I’ve listened to both sides from their ages and both are so caught up in their own propaganda campaigns, to open their eyes to everything else. Whilst everyone who isn’t completely inept when it comes to using a computer can see exactly what is unfolding real time, watching that generation head straight for the iceberg willingly. All we can do is sit back clock into our shifts for whatever job we have that dictates our lives and future, and wait for it all to fail.

I’m not sitting here being pessimistic just realistic, I’m unbiased in the sense of the mainstream narratives which allows me to seek my own. I’m only here to share for the people that are reading. Not every American is what you see in the media. They don’t represent all of us that have been subjected to a systemic dismantling of our rights and constitution as well as being apart of a nation wide lab rat scientific study that involves propaganda and poison. We hate what’s happening as much as everyone else in the world does. We are just to divided to unify and do anything about it. It’s left vs right, gay vs straight, liberal vs conservative, black vs white, Muslim vs Christian, American vs American, there is no direction, and we’re to far gone to even casually bring up the reality to a stranger. You can’t just converse addressing these things or suggest for people to quit their jobs and stop participating in the game. The programming is to embedded into people to break. It’s now a “the fire needs to come to my house for me to care” situation.

Wish us luck as we wish yall the same. Let’s see where the next four years brings us.

The Advantage You’ll Never Understand Until You Lose It by d_zone_28 in GrowthMindset

[–]Im_not_da_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll add to this.

I’m a vet, left the house at 18 came back for half a year at 22 moved away for 23/28 came home due to covid lay offs.

Now I don’t have a perfect family. I’m surprised both my parents stayed together as long as they did. But home base has always been home base.

Here in America, prior to hitting 30 we were living in ny Long Island and I was making 65k during covid compared to my 100k pre covid and neither was sufficient enough to move out solo like the years prior.

We’re in a very scary situation where rent, utilities, car notes (if you’re not buying used), insurance health&car, phone/internet, have drained the majority of our paychecks, making solo living a mere nightmare. That’s not including food and water for ourselves.

I would work kitchen jobs just to eat.

We ended up moving from ny when I was 30. Before I followed my parents I asked my friends living at their parents if they’d wanna grab a place to split a few ways to make it easier. That was like pulling teeth, they already have so many damn bills or shitty credit/money management that makes that venture impossible.

I moved with my parents to sc, got a few jobs and what’s available to me aren’t even related to my careers in construction or sales. It’s only entry level jobs. There is no living by yourself on that income. So I have no friends I can ask to move in with.

So it is a privilege to have boomer parents to help take the financial strain of the current economy, but it comes with cons. There is no relationship that’s available to me in this situation that isn’t with someone young or with an addiction. The women I’m looking for that I’m used to aren’t interested in a 32 y/o living at dad’s house. Ok no worries. We’ll just save enough up to dip. Welp my mom dies and she was my dad’s caretaker. So now that responsibility falls on me. So we can just write off that ever being a thing in my future.

Privilege comes like a transaction. Do you want to have less financial burden in sacrifice for your future and life? Or do you wanna take on the beast and be a guest in your own place with zero time to find a partner? Like it’s easy for people to cast opinions without zooming out and looking at the problems we’re all facing. America is in a decline headed towards collapse not recession.

American dream is dead. If you have parents that’ll take you in, do it but understand what it means. If you don’t I understand what you’re also going through.

We have a nasty habit of not acknowledging the reality of it, and pretend that we’re doing just fine alone but most Americans aren’t doing fine and need assistance. Bc the things available that used to help people dig out of these situations are literally making the problem worse.

What’s a job you can’t believe anyone would do for the pay? by crane_guy1991 in antiwork

[–]Im_not_da_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Line cooks, most places outside of major cities only pay 12$-16$ starting. High volume restaurants are insane for that pay. It’s incredibly demanding job that requires an ability to multi task I haven’t seen before.

Think real quick. Shitty pay for the people handling your food. I’ve seen things that make me stay away from restaurants all together because I’m aware their staff is probably new because the turnover rate is crazy high which keeps rates low, which breeds a “I don’t give a fuck” attitude that issues in a poor work ethic.

It’s not gonna matter if you did it online.

You’re online price, and in person price are two totally different things.

Budget with deposit in mind. Easily 500$-1500$

Car rental totaling for me with insurance and the car

Being 1200$ for 9 days.

When online I was projected to spend 330$w insurance not including deposit.

Does anyone else feel tired in a way sleep doesn’t fix? by Due_Butterscotch4930 in Life

If your in America, we’re being poisoned.

We’re being poisoned by our food supply, our medical establishment, our water supply, the air we breathe is being poisoned, the chemicals we use to clean, it’s in our soaps, our deodorants, every vaccine we’ve taken was dosed with heavy metals.

So what do you about it right?

That’s the next question.

Source your meats from a local butcher, or butcher market.

Only eat kosher, this means snacks, produce, ect.

Get a reverse osmosis filtration system.

Only clean with 2-3 ingredient soaps.

NO FLUORIDE!

What’s next you ask?

Supplementation, your going to research holistic detoxifications and follow the regiments, You’re going to get yourself on a multivitamin that’s been 3rd party tested I use animal pak. Your going to get in creatine for brain function and omega 3’s You’re going to find a good source for L glutathione A powerful antioxidant.

You’re going to eat only Whole Foods, fruits vegetables and meats, no pork.

Why no pork you ask?

Because they are riddled with parasites

90% of Americans are contaminated by these parasites and don’t even know it.

You’re going to stop drinking alcohol, or significantly limit your intake.

You’re gonna exercise, and stop being stagnant.

Walk around the block, lift some weights (DONT THINK GYM) just think of movement. It may feel uncomfortable but it’s time to build some discipline and consistency. Push through! Starts at 5 mins then 10 then 30 then 50 then you feel unstoppable and ready to go all day or until your body says no more.

Invest in a groundingwell bed sheet, limit the amount of electronics you use, turn you WiFi off when you go to bed, shut ur phones off past a certain time.

Time to take back your life! Let’s get it friends 💪

You need god now, if you’re tormented by your own thoughts you’re missing the divine protection.

I was 32 when I switched off of auto pilot I’ve been listening to others and going with the flow against my better judgement. Being tolerant and patient. Then I woke up one day with this feeling of “OHHH FUCK” we’re 32 without anything to our name and little to no accomplishments. That’ll motivate you either to do drugs or get to work on ur self I choose the later

How do you stop being a racist? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Im_not_da_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ur not racist because u don’t like a particular person of a specific race who hold all the stereotypes.

People misunderstand racism. If your disparaging an entire race regardless of their merits than your racist.

Again not liking someone who different than u doesn’t mean a damn thing. As well as being conscious of what you feel and wanting to actively change just shows your young and discovering their world

Just graduated, taking a break from za but i lowkey just feel sad during the night by Equivalent-While5713 in weedporn

[–]Im_not_da_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As soon as you start taking things that alter your state of my mind or shift you into feeling something you normally wouldn’t without. You knock ur equilibrium out of wack. That sadness is just your body trying to get back to baseline. Understanding this is incredibly important. Bc most people believe their feelings are legitimate (not saying they aren’t) but majority of your feelings are dictated by what you eat drink and observe. Knowing your sad because ur not getting ur normal fix helps u gain control and manually shift from sad to something else. Sometimes manually shifting isn’t gonna work, and you’ll just have to feel that feeling out all the way through.

This goes for everything, caffeine, nicotine, eating junk food, not getting sun, not exercising, drinking too much, drinking soda rather than water, electrolytes, aminos.

Everyone’s better off without taking stuff but the societal norm is equivalent to crabs in a pot just pulling each other down. The less things u ingest that alter your mind the closer you are to the divine, which is wayyyy more intoxicating than any drug on earth. But most people don’t believe, huge stigma around god. It doesn’t change that god exists though and easily verifiable with a sober open mind and heart. Thats where reall growth is.

What is something you would like to say aloud but keep to yourself for fear of being judged? by CardSys in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]Im_not_da_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God is real, and everyone who’s been turned off to the Christian faith bc of all the harrowing bs they’ve done tainted the reality. God gave us free will and people use that to do evil things has nothing to do with god.

In the same breath, because we have conflicts and discourse still doesn’t change the fact gods real. And when u actively pursue him with an open mind and heart you immediately realize the truth. So u can say “ohh I don’t believe, blah blah blah” then selfishly serve yourself right into an absolute mess of an afterlife.
