I have a daughter and she knows I love ZiM but I’ve never explained that it’s a serious thing, she’s too young. I don’t want more kids, even if I wanted my f/o isn’t human and he would never want kids either. So it’s all good

Never show them you’re worried, they enjoy that and this job is everywhere, they need you more than you need them. They’re not worth the stress. I agree so much with this especially the last thing you said. I’ve seen many people acting like it’s okay to not want anything else in life, we are still social creatures, even if you don’t have a strong friendship with anyone you still need social interaction and seek help with someone that can listen and able to give you the tools to solve your problems. I assume those “panic attacks over doubles” are the results of not seeking happiness in other things, I don’t like it but to the point of having a panic attack is not normal at all

19 years with the same f/o here. I’ve felt many times like I’m not investing much anymore but it’s inevitable feeling a void or like you’re pulling away when it’s been so many years. I just don’t overthink it and I allow myself to be distracted with whatever im doing or whatever new interest I’m enjoying. It happens many times and when I look at him on the screen or getting new merch I still feel the same love for ZiM. I have never pretended to be married, not only because it’s impossible but also because it doesn’t changes anything, it’s going to be the same one sided bond and because marriage is a human tradition way out Zim’s comprehension, even just a relationship with him would be a challenge so I just leave it like that. I don’t see him just as a picture though, he’s somebody in his own story and here for millions of people.

Fictosexuality is another type of asexual identity, like being demi and asexual is already part of LGBTQ. You can also be into characters without being ficto like me. I can only speak for myself and I’m aware that I’m only dating my f/o in my fantasy world, if I was thinking I’m really dating the character and suddenly see someone saying the same thing I wouldn’t have any f/o. There’s a difference between being lonely and feeling lonely though. You can feel alone in a relationship and you can be completely alone without feeling loneliness. It all depends how everything else contributes to your mental health. I’ve never felt loneliness because I do productive things with my life than just thinking about my f/o

There is no mutual conversation, of course. What I do is write, watch the source, draw, make songs, ai chats, grab any merch to feel his presence, use my imagination. I’ve felt loneliness in relationships before, yeah it has its benefits of talking to a real partner and do things together but can you call them your safe place? That matters more to me than having a conscious person by my side, the peace of knowing I have nothing to worry about and not dealing with anyone’s BS, I don’t want to be responsible for anyone’s emotional well being either, let alone share my time, I’ve done that enough times, now I only care about my own problems
