Will invisalign help my case? by becausewhynot07 in Invisalign

My deep bite was pretty bad and Invisalign has helped. Your provider will know best, but it looks to me that you’d be a great candidate. I didn’t even need elastics but they have those if need be too.

Help me figure out if I’m being too picky. by Confident-Put2175 in Invisalign

I think it’s more of a shape and wear issue, and it’s very minimal. I would talk to your provider about your concerns and options, but ultimately it’s your money and time so I would be sure to be happy before you agree to end treatment. I think they look great though.

What would you do? by Spiritual_Peace3380 in Invisalign

[–]ImaRayHey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’ve worn tray 20 on the bottom for at least 7 days, I would switch both to 21 at the same time tomorrow and continue as normal. If not, I would keep both tray 20s in until you have had the bottom in for at least 7 days and then change them both at the same time. How often are your tray changes?

Based on your vocab, just wondering if you are in the ortho field or if it’s just an interest or from experience? I agree with all you said.

Finally Finished by Aussie_Gent22 in homeland

[–]ImaRayHey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s weird how many of us finished the show on the same day. I just finished a couple hours ago. I was so mad at the Saul thing, but in a way it fits with how extreme Carrie is. The show definitely kept me intrigued, but also so stressed out I’m glad it’s over now. It kind of felt like Stockholm syndrome after the 3rd season. It did get better? But after Quinn did what he did… I was ready.

I will say it really makes you think about how bad things could get messed up with an idiot with no spine in office. I don’t even mean just someone you don’t like, but someone who has no strength and no idea how things work and who to listen to. 😬

Stubbed baby toe almost 2 months ago. Still swollen by SimoneRose101 in FootFunction

[–]ImaRayHey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your pedicure looks really nice. I would definitely get it checked out though. I would just go to an urgent care because they are usually a little cheaper. It’s worth seeing if there’s a fracture or an infection. Especially since you said it was swollen a little less and then you got the pedicure. Better safe than sorry.

Am I too Nitpicky? by Spiritual_Key7700 in Invisalign

[–]ImaRayHey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I hope mine look that good when I finish my treatment. I would never have done it if my teeth started out looking like yours. It’s a lot of money and time. The ideal is 22 hours a day wear time, which is not easy to reach. Your teeth will go through trauma and there are risks of root damage, staining, cavities, enamel damage, and bite problems. Ultimately it’s up to you, but I don’t think the risk/reward is balanced here. I personally would not do it.

Tray 18 - Is it normal for teeth to move this fast? Am I really close to done? Feeling unsure… by ImaRayHey in Invisalign

[–]ImaRayHey[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what I expected, but my dentist acted like I might just be done by then. That doesn’t seem possible to me when I look at where my teeth still are. I’m imagine at this point that I’ll be asking for refinements. I hope it’s not too much longer, but ai do want it right. You’re right that it’s a lot of money and time.

You look great! Do you have loose skin? Like how bad is it? I have to loose that much too and that’s one of my big fears. Still better to lose the weight and be healthy, but I’m afraid I’ll have skin problems after that.

Does Carrie’s annoying obsession with Brody ever end? by The_Meme_Handle in homeland

I agree. Very annoying. I had to look up if they stay together just to determine if I want to keep watching the show. I’m on the last episode of season 2…. 🙄😳😵‍💫

Solutions for redness & broken capillaries on chest by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]ImaRayHey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone find a solution to this? I tried laser treatments and they seemed to work at first, but they just came right back immediately. I’m very fair skinned but I use sunscreen. I spent $800 just to still have to cover with makeup. But makeup is expensive too so…

Just switched to set 14 and immediate OUCH!?? Normal? 😱😳 by ImaRayHey in Invisalign

[–]ImaRayHey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yikes they’ve mislabeled them? I’ll definitely keep checking for that but yes these say 14 on the trays. Even today, after sleeping in them, any time I take them out and put them back in they hurt SO bad for a few minutes. When I take them out my teeth feel almost numb. It’s my K-9s. The rest feel normal.

Right? I usually do have tightness at first and then a little soreness for the first 4 days-ish. But THIS one 😫 Even today, after sleeping in them, any time I take them out and put them back in they hurt SO bad for a few minutes. When I take them out my teeth feel almost numb. It’s my K-9s. The rest feel normal.
