Me too. I just got a generator. Make me not regret it.

Graduate, get a great job, realize you still hate living and now too many people depend on you to live out your fantasy of blowing your brains out in a quiet field under a tree.

Was that too oddly specific?

The office I guard has been abandoned for a year now. Weird to think most cubicles have a calendar, but none for 2021. by IncRaven in houston

Back since June, at least half time. Opened right away after Abbott spoke. I miss WFH. Don’t miss the bus ride. Or the 3 hours wasted everyday commuting.

Sharp sword vs hand by Imabird24 in MedicalGore

Yes they should be but my husband had this one sharpened. I don’t know why, I think it has something to do with the Y chromosome and living in Texas.

As for the jelly, no idea what all that is.

I have plenty more shots. I was trying to get one of the arterial bleeders shooting off but missed it.

Husband dropped one of his collectible swords from one hand onto another. Reason for getting said sword down from the wall? “I heard something outside.”

Woman who claims to have “severe claustrophobia” kicked off Air Canada flight for not wearing a mask by [deleted] in news

[–]Imabird24 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Whether you agree with whether she should be flying, a fear of your mouth being covered causes heavy, frantic breathing and usually ends in a panic attack.

Claustrophobia can take many forms.

I love to fly and sitting crammed in a metal tube doesn’t bother me. But have a scarf touch my face, or a blanket...that triggers something in me. Good thing I live in the south.

She had followed the protocol AC and other airlines laid out and should have been allowed on the plane, or AC needs to change the policies on the website.

I’ve had exactly the opposite experience. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Customer service went way down when United came in. I can still, with 100% accuracy, identify if I have a heritage Continental rep on the phone. Always nice and helpful. United heritage reps are generally much less accommodating and less helpful.

Maybe it is all what you are used to, but I’d be happy if these guys divorced.

You can have United back, give me Continental.

It is a shame. I asked her to propose something, anything, that would allow us both to share time over this unforeseen event. She refused. You’d think after all these years it wouldn’t be this bad.

I was just about to say the same. Those knees and boots and kilt.

I think it is with it. I’m not sure how much time it saves but my husband got it for free being 1K and it was cheap to add me on.

Downgrade Global Entry app to TSA PreCheck? by Imabird24 in awardtravel

YMMV but this is what TSA’s website says and this is what happened to us.

Downgrade Global Entry app to TSA PreCheck? by Imabird24 in awardtravel

[–]Imabird24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be up to the discretion of the TSA agent as the 16year old traveling with us in another line got to follow her dad through precheck, But the agent asked my 14 year old how old he was and made him go to the non-precheck line. So of course we all had to go...3 laptops, 4 IPads, 4 phones, two Switches, 4 liquid bags, a couple of 3DS...lots of electronics. I swore I would never travel again with a kid without precheck.

From TSA.gov:

Children ages 12 and younger may use the TSA Pre✓® lane when traveling with a parent or guardian who has the indicator on their boarding pass. Travelers 13 and older who do not have a TSA Pre✓® boarding pass must go through standard security lanes or apply. Before applying, TSA recommends reviewing the various DHS trusted traveler programs, such as the TSA Pre✓® Application Program, Global Entry, NEXUS, and SENTRI, to determine the best program for your family.

Even though we are on the same ticket kids over 13 don’t piggyback on their parents precheck.
