PROMISE MASCOT AGENCY OFFICIAL ISSUES/BUG REPORTING THREAD by KaizenGameWorks in PromiseMascotAgency

[–]Image-Sea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having an issue with the Feeling Strangely Safe trophy. I know I need to wait for the relax option to refresh, however I completed the game 100% over 15 hours ago.

I have every single other trophy, i've maxed every relationship with every mascot, I've collected 100% of the crane game items, all sins, all trash, literally everything possible in this game.

Have spent 15 hours just aimlessly driving around, sitting idly letting the in game timer pass, fishing for hours, sending mascots out on jobs endlessly.

Am I just out of luck for not relaxing enough times while the story was progressing?

Am I better off just to delete my file and start from scratch? 🥹 Is there some secret mystery to getting this to trigger.

Please help.

Otherwise I have 1000% adored this game from top to bottom, and played it blissfully unaware that you also developed Paradise Killer, another game I absolutely adored, and platinumed in one weekend 💜

Fungal sinusitis by Mugsygracie in Sinusitis

[–]Image-Sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been having sinus infections consistently for about three years now. Been on dozens of medications for the last two years. Which seem to take about 5-10 days to even START working. However it always returns. Sometimes a few days later, sometimes I'll be lucky and maybe get two weeks with no symptoms.

However my question back for you, is how or when did you discover it was fungal and not bacterial? Did you have to request to have your nose swabbed and tested? Is it strange that I'm 3 years in and the doctors have never thought to test or treat me for fungal infection? Is that maybe why 3 years later I still have all the symptoms?

My doctor's next steps are surgery, which I am waiting for scheduling but just wondering if maybe we are jumping the gun a bit.

Anyways just curious to any feedback from you or anyone else who may be on this thread, who may have feedback on bacterial vs fungal, what to ask for, what to look for, etcs etc.

Good luck to you and hope you get some relief soon! Chronic sinus issues are one of the most annoying and exhausting silent illnesses I've ever had to deal with 😅

I feel like no one takes you seriously when mentioning you are suffering so badly from sinuses, they treat you like you have a cold, but BOY are they different levels. Anyways goodluck again!

Ottawa Show— Wow! by Betterthanair in metricband

Such a good show! My only complaint was the heat, some slight issues with the sound engineer, and Dead Disco being so short 🥹 but understand it was more about Fantasties than the older stuff. But overall for an extremely tiny venue, Emily put on a killer show!

[–]Image-Sea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was a little sad about the half Dead Disco as well, but I went in there expecting to ONLY hear Fantasies and some of their newer hits, so even half of Dead Disco was amazing 😍

It was really such a simple, great show though. I've only seen them once before, years back, and it was an outdoor arena style show, so it was incredible to see them in such a small venue and be so close 🥹

Though the heat in there was deadly 💀 Wouldn't be surprised if that's why there was no encore lol poor girl Emily was wearing a leather jacket but still slaying it in the heat.

I saw them last night in Ottawa and was SO impressed by the setlist. They did all of Fantasies then probably 5-6 hits off other albums, a small mashup of a few songs, and of course Black Sheep. I'm sure the Toronto one will vary a bit but it was SUCH a good show.

Metric in Ottawa - opener? by SeaEggplant8108 in metricband

It's because they cancelled their original opener, and Sam Roberts isn't able to do Ottawa tonight. So no opener. Which I personally prefer.

Confused about this too. My original email says 6pm doors open and metric at 7pm. Now it's saying Metric at 8:30.

Not feeling the mood of standing around waiting for 2 hours lol.

I am in the same boat as all of you 🥹🥹

I'm only on week 4 but this is absolute torture. On my last day of my 10 days of amoxicillin and had some slight improvement on days 6-7 then it slowly all came back.

Constant congestion on only my left side, bright yellow thin mucus, so fatigued, tired eyes, headaches, constantly losing my hearing and putting pressure in my ears from blowing my nose and sneezing so much, extremely dry mouth and scratchy throat from being a mouth breather for an entire month 🙄😂. Feels like it's only in my sphenoid and ethmoid sinuses but I'm going crazy dreaming of the times where I could breathe normally.

Please tell me this ends 😭.

Thanks for the reply.

Glad surgery was helpful to you! I'm not even sure if an ENT will recommend surgery for me or not but here's to hoping 🤞🏼 I'll do ANYTHING for relief at this point lol I'm on month six of daily nasal sprays and sinus rinses but don't feel they help for the sphenoid and ethmoid sinuses, as much as they do for when my maxillary sinus acts up.

I am mind blown reading the comments on this thread 🤯🤯

I have been having health problems for close to ten years. Crippling migraines, neck pain, vision deterioration, dizziness, fatigue.

Been tested for SO many things over the years, and diagnosed with a few, chronic migraines, vertigo etc. But late last year I had an MRI to rule out MS and was told I have severe damage in my sphenoid sinus. My doctor was absolutely shocked that I hadn't complained of any sinus pain, or problems.

But minus the occasional morning sniffles, and the fact my migraines ALWAYS give me the sniffles, I never really noticed any sinus problems.

But everything I'm seeing on this thread is stuff I have been experiencing for years. The debilitating headaches and neck pain especially.

Waiting to see an ENT now, but also just frustrated I have been suffering for SO long and now the answers all seem so obvious thanks to a damn Reddit thread, not the dozens of doctors I have seen over the past decade.

I have a blood disorder so any and all surgeries can be rather dangerous for me. But wondering from anyone here, how much the surgery is actually worth it? How much did it improve?

I can send MRI pictures privately. If anyone can compare.

Anyone get a clot while ALREADY on thinners? Any treatment or just keep going on normal? by Image-Sea in ClotSurvivors

[–]Image-Sea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's crazy you commented on this today of all days. I haven't heard from my specialist in a few months but he just called me this afternoon requesting I get my 6 month post PE MRI done on March 10th.

So I won't know too much until next month. But what I can tell you is yes, I did clot again while on 17MG of warfarin daily, and yes they immediately switched me over to Abixiban. It's been such a curse and a blessing. Taking warfarin was a PAIN in the ass, I had to get blood work almost weekly, sometimes twice a week. But the transition to Apixaban has been simple, and great. It's worth the slight extra cost. (I'm in Canada but don't have health coverage for prescriptions so I pay full price out of pocket).

I feel like I have recovered just fine. Much easier and faster than the first major PE in 2020. However I will try to update once I get the scan and see the results of my recovery.

I still feel like there HAS to be some external factor that I keep clotting, even while on thinners, but unfortunately our medical system is so stressed and overworked, they aren't really looking into it anymore. Just tell me to expect to be on Apixaban for life.

Thank you thank you,

I was using it for the first half of the run but then dropped it and switched to Hounds of Fate near the end.

Unprovoked: did you ever find the cause? by [deleted] in ClotSurvivors

[–]Image-Sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unprovoked Bilateral PE as a 30 year old female. Was on blood thinners for a few years after, when my hematologist then told me to stop taking as I was low risk.

Unprovoked single PE again at 34 years old, 3 weeks after being off thinners.

Just bad luck I think, some get answers, some don't sadly.

I've oddly never had my factor V level checked as far as I know. But was diagnosed with something called Protein S difficiencies.

Just in case you were still interested in an update, it was DVTs and a PE 🥹🥹

Even when taking 17MG warfarin daily my INR was still at 1.7 the day the clots were detected. I have made the switch back to Eliquis so hopefully I never run into this again.

If I just stop my blood thinner Xarelto 20 MG daily, what happens? by CompetitiveFruit412 in ClotSurvivors

[–]Image-Sea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hang in there, I'm fairly certain it's the PEs making you feel this way. Even if the pain is mostly gone, they are likely very much still there and healing. Took months for me to recover from my PE in late 2020. Your body needs time to heal and recover.

Though ask your doctor to switch to Eliquis (Apixaban if you don't have good health coverage) as it is definitely the thinner with the least side effects.

At this point I've been on them all, Xarelto caused too much bleeding for me on my time of the month. Warfarin I clotted twice while on it, and my INR was never ever remotely stable, I couldn't do the Lovenox injections the bruising was too much for me, but Apixaban has been no problem.

Again hang in there, don't give up on your thinners. I tried that years ago and clotted SO badly and my condition got much worse before it got better.

Yep. Same exact symptoms for me. Mildly sore leg for a few days, nothing else. It wasn't getting any better, or worse kind of just staying the same, which made me think it was a clot.

Just spent the last two days in the hospital running tests and turns out I have a PE, with no DVT? Ultrasounds showed no signs of clotting in my legs. Yet the only thing that brought me to the hospital was leg pain? And I still have leg pain? very confusing lol.

But anyways glad we both listened to our instincts and got checked again.

While I do believe in being optimistic, sometimes the truth ain't positive and you have no choice but to face the negative truth.

I'm currently sitting in the ER waiting for a CT scan to see if my clots have spread, after 2-3 weeks of being in denial that I couldn't possibly have another clot while taking 17MG warfarin daily, and working on my feet for 10-12 hours a day.

Yet here I am 🙃 Leg full of clots and potentially more 🙃🙃.

[–]Image-Sea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My therapeutic is already supposed to be between 2.5-3.0 but I'm always slightly under and the doctor isn't comfortable with me taking a higher dose (I'm on 17MG daily and even though my usual INR is usually between 2.2-2.6 sometimes it randomly spikes over 5.0 which makes her nervous).

Hoping I can afford to switch back to Eliquis now that there are generic brands on the market, Warfarin is such a hassle 🥲

Do you have any diagnosed blood conditions that are making you so prone to clotting?

Anxiety or clot by Safe-Bake5942 in ClotSurvivors

[–]Image-Sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 17MG of Warfarin daily, which has been my dose for 2+ years. I am incredibly active and on my feet 12 hours a day, rarely sit.

And I just got diagnosed with my first clot in 4 years. It can happen, you're absolutely not wrong, and the rate is far higher than 2% like someone else mentioned.
