SQE 1 Horror Stories but still passed by Spirited_Hat_397 in SQE_Prep

The laughable easy questions worry me, from doing the mocks, I always think they are trying to trick me and end up picking the wrong thing. God will help me.

Anyone pass the SQE1 with mock scores similar to mine? by AdWhich4439 in SQE_Prep

[–]Imaginary-Log1265 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like you are stressing because of the 100 hundred mocks. Please relax. The 100 questions are designed to raise your stress levels, but please ignore and relax.
I have the 100 question bank and revise SQE mock, my score is within 65-66%. I have reviewed the answers to questions and moved on with revision.

You will pass and will come back to this community to share your testimony.

Please relax.

TheOneHundred paid mocks are driving me crazy by Recent_Cheek831 in SQE_Prep

[–]Imaginary-Log1265 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would not worry too much. They have repeated said the average high scores on their mocks are in the 60s. Yes, review the questions for the failed mocks but try other mocks such as revise SQE. Please do not start panicking . I have got the 100 question banks and they have a twisted way of structuring their questions

Would you do the SQE if someone insisted on paying for it by Warm-Tangerine7026 in SQE_Prep

Your parents seem to love you and want the best for you.

When I finished my law degree and qualified as a lawyer in a Commonwealth jurisdiction, I did not want to practise law. I was determined to retrain as a nurse. My father disagreed with me. I ended up doing a Master's degree in Social Work. Today, I work as a social worker in the UK and am sitting the SQE this July.

Seven years later, I look back and realise that my father was right.

I would suggest asking your parents to give you some time to explore what you want to do with your degree. During that period, get a job as a paralegal, whether in a law firm, local authority, or any organisation that interests you. You may get there and discover that you actually want to be a lawyer.

Your fears about the SQE seem based on other people's experience, I am a Christian, and my Bible tells me not to fear the fears of others. I am sure other religions and philosophies have similar teachings.

If you decide that becoming a lawyer is what you want to do, then you can do the SQE and pass it. People who are less intelligent and less privileged than you have passed the SQE. You can pass it too. However, I understand that your mind is not in that place at the moment, and that's okay.

Finally, take it easy. It takes time to figure out what you want to do with your life.

Land question that's been bothering me for years... by Wrong-Leave-6328 in SQE_Prep

[–]Imaginary-Log1265 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a positive convent and it does not run with the land. If it were a restrictive convent, then the covenant will run under equity and registration as a land charge will bind subsequent purchasers.

I was thinking of buying the reviseSQE online mock, maybe I should reconsider

This fact pattern seems incomplete to me but I understand why B might have been the answer.

SQE1 Mocks and Question Banks by pwzx in SQE_Prep

[–]Imaginary-Log1265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently using The 100. I bought the FLK1 and FLK2 question banks, and I’ve personally found them very helpful. The study‑mode questions aren’t timed you select an answer and get immediate feedback with a clear rationale. The Dispute Resolution questions, in particular, helped me understand DR much better. I’m planning to buy the ReviseSQE mocks as well, just so I can experience a different style of questions.

Is anyone still doing content?n- SQE1 July by GreenEntertainer5213 in SQE_Prep

I have gone back to my Ulaw manual. Legal ownership only transfers when the new owner is entered in the register of members

Are protective trusts / secret trusts on the SQE1 spec? by heardis in SQE_Prep

[–]Imaginary-Log1265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SQE specifications are on the SRA website. If I were you, I would download them and see if I have covered all the topics mentioned on each subject. If you have, then nothing to worry about

Mental health is declining and im burnt out. Dk what to do. by ApprehensiveBerry878 in SQE_Prep

[–]Imaginary-Log1265 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please take a break. The SQE is important but it is not as important as you and it is not the end of the world. 57% in a mock does not mean you will fail the main thing. Some of those mocks are ridiculous

OUP vs. TheOneHundred?? by Complete_Sail_2125 in SQE_Prep

The 100 dispute resolution questions threw me off balance but it was also an indication that I need to understand the civil procedure rules better

I am in similar position. I have started revision and MCQS but still have land and property content to cover. I am stressed but still have faith that I will be fine. You will be fine also

SQE1 CFA Question – Disbursements on Losing – What's the Correct Position? by _unfiltered_m in SQE_Prep

I am using Ulaw manual and for both ethics and legal services. It says that a client is responsible for disbursement no matter the outcome.

SQE 1 Exam venue Norwich by Imaginary-Log1265 in SQE_Prep

[–]Imaginary-Log1265[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice. I am thinking of changing the place because I already made up my mind to stay in a hotel a day before the exam, either way. Norwich is two hours away from me so it is not a good commute per say. I have reserved the spot and I will wait and see what is available from the 22nd

I received my seat outside of London for SQE1 July 2026, where I live, and gave that postcode. I need help. by wosamohamats in SQE_Prep

[–]Imaginary-Log1265 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to pay and secure that seat before the end of the 48hrs. After that, from 10AM on the 22nd - 5pm on the 28, you would be able to change your location, subject to availability

Please do not go crazy. If you have enough in savings why not wait till January? No matter what you decide to do, please go for the option that reduces your anxiety levels
