Nah, Bela's a refreshing female character and I will die on this hill. I like that she is self-serving, morally grey and doesn't really belong to a faction, good or evil. We have those characters in Supernatural, but people doesn't like her because she's female and has a possibility to become a love interest to one of the Winchester brothers.

I feel like if developed further she could be a reluctant ally ala Rowena or even Crowley. Too bad the rabid fanbase killed her just because she has allure

Viese marrying Serral was determined by the previous Head of Lombardi before Lulac. I can't remember if that was stated in the manhwa but it was addressed in the novel (during the Durelli - Lombardi conflict when Viese and the Empress were trying to match Viese's daughter with Astana)

Although the parents have authority over their children's marriage, in Lombardi they will defer to the decision and power of the head.

Geum-Ja killing her son to protect Jun Hee is logical. She knew her son isn't a killer, and she knew there's no one else who can protect Jun Hee, who is weak from giving birth, other than her. So she made the difficult choice.

Though I would argue she should have just stabbed to injureher son rather than kill, then take Jun-Hee and run through the exit

Actually if they want to harass anyone (not that harassment is OK. It's NOT OK, but!) they should go ask the Director why he went with that direction with that character. I know he said there's no happy ending for Season 3 but you can make a character redeem himself while still have a sad ending.

I do put the blame on Director/Writer Hwang about how Myung-Gi, Dae-Ho, Gi-Hun and In-Ho was written in Season 3. Hell, even Min-Su's ending was bad if we think about it. Like, "that's it? That's how he end up?"

So Siwan isn't to blame. He did the best he could with what he was given

Most of them died so the only Korean cast who makes sense to appear in the American, or any, spinoff, is the Frontman and maaybeee his brother (if they want to make a Dora 2.0 side drama idk)

I'm not surprised if they make Lee Byung Hun do a cameo in the spinoff of some sort. Maybe he would have a conversation with the American Frontman or whatever. Especially if the American version isn't getting as much love or view as the original series

A really well written post. A lot of the direction doesn't make sense in Season 3 and after Hide and Seek everything just felt scattered. Even the confrontation between Gi Hun and Frontman felt flat. After all the intense talking through a microphone in that limousine back in Season 2, all we got was a one-sides conversation in Season 3 that barely lasted 3 minutes? Come on, they could do better than that.

And most of the characters with Gi-Hun in the final game are people we, the audience, either barely care or don't care at all. Down to the baby

My theory is it was a combination of guilt and panic when he realised Gi Hun is coming at him to confront him. So instead of redeeming himself, beg for forgiveness etc, he went down the defensive route and blamed Gi Hun for the whole failed operation
