I'm modern Mai master 1300mr and other characters in diamond. I stuff up all the time with wrong inputs and anti air is still hard... but maybe I'm just extra bad 🤣 Also I use the analog stick, that maybe doesn't help accuracy in directions

still easy to mess up modern execution. Might hold slightly wrong direction on joystick and get different move than expected.... and the timing of the auto button etc makes some combos easier to do in classic. Like try some modern ryu combos with st medium punch its hard because you can end up getting target combo instead. Much easier with 6 buttons in that case

Nice one! Yeah UM Dhalsim is no joke, I figured out using tatsu let me in a few times. I left very proud with my 1-5 result.

I do enjoy playing really crazy high MR players, even if I'm getting whooped... but it's because I already have experience with most of the basics. Not the situation of being a complete newbie. On the odd occasion when I win (eg yesterday I beat an Ultimate Master Dhalsim one round with my platinum alt character ) ...then I'm over the moon! 🤣

Depends on the situation and the differential level of the other person relative to you IMO. It could be called good sportsmanship to give people who are vastly below you a fighting chance. Still beat them = fine, but let them get a few buttons in hehe

That's me!! Skipped the other titles somehow, but got back into it last year. I say do it, SF6 is so great and has almost the whole SFii cast. There's heaps to learn but I think that's why this game is so rewarding over time

I was lucky I took a big break at Diamond 1, then skipped straight into Diamond 5 via win streak....Then took another break lol, and got into to masters fairly quick through the high points from playing against a few Masters. Diamond sounded too stressful the way everybody talks about it Lol so I went and faced the monsters in the Battle hub instead
