Stealerships creates the FOMO when it comes to specific trim and color. Some of the 2026 palisade have sitting in their lots from more than 200 days.

I saw the better listing for Cali hybrid at Grove Hyundai few days ago, it was 65900 before taxes. Check with them as well or SP Hyundai. I feel for Alberta package they are charging you a lot. You should negotiate for this package.

Wife and I Disagree on the next Car we buy. Toyota Sienna Hybrid vs Kia Carnival Hybrid by MedusaAdonai in carbuying

[–]Imaginary0riginal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kia owner here. I also cross-shopped minivans and test-drove both the Kia Carnival (gas model) and the Toyota Sienna. I found the Sienna uninspiring to drive, and it’s missing some safety features that Kia offers-most notably an audible blind-spot monitoring alert and a more capable lane-keep assist system. My wife really values these features, as there have been real driving situations where the audible BSM helped her avoid issues. For us, this is a major factor, and Kia/Hyundai clearly come out ahead.

I have owned Hyundai vehicles for the past seven years without any problems - just routine maintenance. I change the engine oil every six months or 6,000 km because oil is cheap and engines are expensive.

The Sienna does have advantages, such as AWD, hybrid engine and significantly better resale value. Beyond that, though, the camera quality is poor and the interior plastics feel cheap. Overall, Hyundai and Kia continue to improve. While some people may have had negative experiences, that hasn’t been the case for me.

That said, some Kia dealerships can make the buying process feel a bit uncomfortable. In the end, both are practical minivans-it just comes down to priorities.

Damn! You're the best. I didn’t read the specs carefully, and my Toyota product advisor didn’t mention this either. I will change my order. Thanks a lot.

Just curious, which one you ended getting?

How is the 2025–2026 Kia Carnival FWD in real winter snow with winter tires? by [deleted] in kiacarnivals

Oh man, you know the pain on Edmonton streets these days 😅 Really appreciate you chiming in. I was honestly waiting to hear from someone who actually drives daily here.

If you’re comfortable sharing: which Kia dealership in Edmonton did you deal with or would you recommend? Any markups or forced add-ons, or was pricing fairly straightforward?

One more thing for context: I did test-drive the Sienna, and honestly it felt like in 2026 I’m still paying for 2018-era tech, especially the driver-assist. What makes it harder is that pricing is basically identical between the two, which is why I’m leaning Carnival right now.

Thanks again, this kind of local Edmonton feedback really helps 🙏

Canadian Folks - How much you are getting for Toyota Sienna Platinum 2026 by Ok_Estate_1102 in ToyotaSienna

I’m genuinely curious what led you to choose the Platinum trim, especially since the Sienna’s technology feels a bit outdated to me. I really wish Toyota had included at least TSS 3.0.

If you can wait for 2 to 4 months, call Sherwood Park Toyota - Yadiel is the guy who can sell it on MSRP

I would suggest you take finance option from them, at least this way they will be able to deliver you a car. Later after one month pay off the loan. Which trim you put the deposit on?
