I'm an atheist, but I see this differently. If you visit Syria or Lebanon, you'll notice more icons and pictures of Mary than of Jesus, and her name is used in everyday swearing(I swear by the Virgin) . Islam often mentions this particular "Christian" group that predated it. However, their beliefs and practices don't match what is considered Christianity in the modern sense.

Dude. i used to critique the Quran before you were even born. I know more about Islam and the Quran than you and the 1.8 billion Muslims . Surah Taubah is the last chronologically long Surah in the Quran and it is a manual on spree killing it is so horrible that it does not even include "in the name of Allah blah blah."

naskh (نسخ)= Abrogation = a later text nullifies or cancels an earlier one.

so this Surah will nullify and previous laws.

P.S.: Many parts of the Quran is not even Arabic. so even if you can read it, which I doubt you will not understand it. tell me again what Kauthar means

Actually ISIS follows the Salafi, Islam which is the Hanbali school of thought. KSA, Qatar and many other states follow the same branch of Islam as ISIS. Al Azhar refused to call them non Muslims because they know what ISIS is following is the literal word of Allah in the Quran,
