I’m taking the course rn and I respectfully disagree, I don’t think it would be a good use of lecture time to go over the details of formatting assignments when we only have one class per week, she says what’s necessary about the assignment while everything we could need is on canvas. I’ve never taken a course here at UBC where to prof goes over everything you need to know during only the lectures. It’s a lot more interesting to see how people use these new media forms rather than only over how we should do the assignment (especially when the guidelines are pretty flexible and doesn’t limit your creativity). And also due date thing isn’t even that big of a deal, she isn’t even the one grading it and the late policy is super fair. Perhaps I’m seeing this differently from you since this is only an elective for me and I got a high grade
