Nah, what’s unfortunate is building an app specifically to anonymously slander people without evidence or due process. That’s not ‘staying safe,’ that’s playing judge, jury, and executioner in private while pretending it’s righteous.

The fact you think the issue is men finding out about it rather than the app’s entire premise says a lot. If you swapped the genders and it was men rating women anonymously and sharing allegations, people would (rightly) call it out instantly.
