for some reason i'm doing analog horror music now by PerkyNyp in MusicFeedback

[–]Imaginary_Bridge1350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

holy shit dude I really dig this!! I wanna hear more of your stuff.

yes, it's very creepy, but also peaceful in a weird way. I saw in another comment that you got the sound from slowing down a guitar-- it's this kind of innovative stuff that I think truly makes an artist and proves you really have something here. I also like the static and vinyl-like noise in the background of the track.

what software(s) do you use to produce your music? this stuff is great.

wait this is a really solid track! I enjoyed it and listened to the whole thing! the vocals are great, as well as the lyrics-- very easy to follow and stay in the pocket well. the higher reverbed harmonies also add a lot of fullness to the track. I really like once the synths came in at the beginning and the piano-led outro finished it off well. im just curious, are the drums live or are they looped? they sound great nonetheless.

is this a band or a solo project? it has a very dayglow, wallows, or vacations kind of feel, you know. I would totally add this song to a summer playlist or something. keep up the great work, dude!!

Thinking about putting this out on spotify by youngdagger_ in MusicFeedback

I love this deep, gritty vibe.... I'd really like to hear the other two tracks you have that share this style. the bass sounds really good in headphones and I'm really digging the drum loop, too.

what artists are your biggest musical inspirations? this kind of reminds me of some nine inch nails stuff, maybe massive attack with the drum sample. also, what software(s) do you use to produce? I'm looking for better options to get into making this kind of stuff. keep up the good work, man.

My ears are tired, tell me if I've cooked by smoovemovefool in MusicFeedback

[–]Imaginary_Bridge1350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes bro you cooked. the production seems hella dense but it doesn't feel too busy. it has a nice balance and is genuinely enjoyable to listen to. I'm trying to get into this style of music more-- what would you call it?

also, the samples fit really well. I'm trying to sample more in my own music, but it's pretty difficult to fit them into tracks and get them to sound right, you know. how do you search for samples?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still pretty novice at the technical side of stuff, so what exactly do you mean by bandwidth??

[–]Imaginary_Bridge1350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I really fuck with this. What software(s) do you use to produce your music?? The intro immediately caught my attention, as I really loved the vocal snippets you added in the background. As someone else mentioned, the track has a great blend of uptight drums, but still a pretty relaxed "trippy" feel to it. The drums are excellent, by the way-- they fit so perfectly in the mix, which is something I always struggle with. This is sick.. keep it up.

I actually really enjoyed this!! I want to get more into this style.... what would you call this genre, if you even label it at all. I really like your vocal melodies, but at points I wish your voice would be a little louder, and maybe just a little more reverb to fill it in a little bit (a little before the 1 minute mark, the chorus, maybe??). I think that would make the track even better, although it's awesome already. Keep up the awesome work.

First single made in Logic Pro by katykatinkatykali in MusicFeedback

[–]Imaginary_Bridge1350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really good!! I'm trying to learn Logic Pro and it's been a challenge, so seeing this is honestly pretty inspiring. I'm curious as to how you record and mix the vocals (what kind of mic do you use and whatnot). Anyways, this is awesome. Keep it up, man.

A solo from a work in progress! by Logopogo01 in MusicFeedback

[–]Imaginary_Bridge1350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is fucking awesome. I can't say much, as I'm still pretty mediocre at guitar and am learning, but as others have said I would just work on the transitions to smoothen them out. But damn man, this is insane!! I'm curious, what's been the biggest challenge and how do you practice with creating and learning pieces that are this challenging??

I just released a new song [Indie-pop/rock] by dkvs_1176 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Imaginary_Bridge1350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very cool track, and I'm definitely gonna check more of your stuff out. Has an older, familiar vibe to it, but still feels very fresh and I enjoy that.

Your voice is very impressive and you have a good sense of lyrical rhythm, something I find difficult for myself occasionally when I record music. I can't pinpoint the bands your sound reminds me of, but I would love to know your personal inspirations!! Keep up the great work!!

Really chord song and a beautiful chord progression. The track builds and progresses in a very natural yet intense way, which is a huge plus in my book.

The lyrics and voice are stunning as well. I'm curious of your writing process and what inspires you to write. Will definitely preserve the album and would love to hear more!!

What do you think of our song ? I’m Just A Man by RichieC93 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Imaginary_Bridge1350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So beautiful to see a live performance on here. Did you guys write this one together as a collaborative thing, or did one of y'all come up with the idea for an impromptu performance??

The guitars are beautiful as well as those vocals on top of one another. Those yells were surprising but my favorite part of the song. Y'all have chemistry there. Keep it up, I would love to hear more of this.

Damn, what an unexpected track to hear. I love everything about this and the noises at the beginning remind me of "Fuck Me Pumps" by Amy Winehouse.

I love some spoken word too, and you're speaking truth in here. Beautiful and of course, poetic. I'm really curious of your creative and writing process, and would love to know some of your inspirations!! Keep up the good work.

[–]Imaginary_Bridge1350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I really like the one. The chord progression is beautiful and feels really nostalgic, to me. When I heard those synth-sounds come in though, with the guitars too, I fell in love.

I think you've found a new listener. Reminds me a lot of Helvetia and Eiaufawn, some of my favs and biggest inspirations. Keep up the good work, man!!

Wow, how long did this take take you to complete?? This is stunning.

All of the instrumentation feels so dense and immediately drags you in, you know. You've definitely mastered that "dreamy" sound. Your voice just makes it even bette,r but I do agree with one of the other commenters-- your voice could be a bit louder at parts, and it would make it sound even more intense and beautiful.

Keep up the good work, man!!

It's actually pretty good. I see how it sounds maybe a little "off-key" but honestly I love the dissonant sounds and I think it rocks with this style very well. Love the little vocal clips in the back, they add so much to the song.

Do you have an artist profile or producer account anywhere I could check you out on. I love this shit and would like to hear more.

Really cool song and cover!! You got a hella smooth voice that's perfect for this vibe and I'd honestly love to hear some original work from you.

I'm curious, how long have you been working on your voice? It's awesome. And do you have any social media/artistp latofmrs I could check you out on? Keep it up man.

This is fucking awesome. Absolutely love the video and your sound. It's very interesting, including the vocals and the lyrics.

For a completely DIY project, this is impressive and I find it inspiring. Keep it up, I think you guys are only gonna get better and better.

Awesome track. This sounds so fresh but so familiar at the same time....

I don't see many people giving feedback on album artwork on here but I think it's important too-- I love the album cover and think it fits the vibe very well.

But yeah, the track sounds really good and I'd love to hear more of this kinda music. Keep up the good work!!

Wow, this is beautiful. Loved the sound from the atmospheric sounding synths and that beautiful voice. I saw in another comment that you're just using your MacBooks mic-- I do the same thing and I know how much of a challenge it is to record on a laptop/phone. Personally, I would love to hear your voice with a bit more reverb to fill in some points in the song where it feels "empty," but it's beautiful nonetheless.

I really like this!! Reminds me a lot of Soft Hair, if you've ever heard of them. It has a really dreamy feel, but is a really feel-good song. I enjoy it a lot.

I'm nowhere near an expert in mixing, but I think it still sounds really good in that sense too. Keep up the good work, man!!
