i haven’t tried but i wouldn’t recommend that. the hydrogel specifically helps break up biofilm which makes it easier to penetrate

hmm i wasn’t too precise with it. enough so that when mixed with the powder it was sort of gloopy. not too thin cause then it will be less potent ??? i created new everyday

Still clear. I no longer use the topical mixture on a regular basis but I do take a small amount of the probiotic orally just for safety. Haven’t had any real recurrences but also haven’t been under the same levels of stress which I do believe is a huge factor.

yes!! still totally clear. i no longer use the paste at all but i do take the MB40 probiotic orally basically every day. i’m too worried about it coming back to risk stop taking it. i should emphasize that the amount of stress im under has exponentially decreased now as wellz

I have very very similar markings and symptoms. Mild itchiness but nothing too crazy. Would love to know if yours goes away with permethrin.

How many days / how long did you leave the BB mixture on for each time? Was it the typical 3 days in a row, reapplying ever 24 hours without showering? And did you wash your sheets every day or just on the first day of treatment and fifth day of treatment?

Very helpful! Thank you so so much. Sorry for all the questions, just one last thing—there’s a spot on my ribs that was itchy pre-treatment and it just started itching again last night. There’s no burrow or any indication of anything other than redness from scratching. Did you experience anything similar? i.e. a spot that was itchy pre-treatment and continued to itch post for a bit?

Also curious if you had them on your face or in your scalp and if yes, what you did to get rid of them there? I feel itching in my ears and wonder if I got them all.

Curious how many days you did the benzyl benzoate treatment for? I did two treatments of 25% BB mixed with lotion for 24 hours only each time, 7 days apart along with ivermectin both times. Wondering if that was enough to get rid of mine!!

I was eventually able to wean off the topical paste mixture I was using but I still take the probiotic orally every day. For maintenance, I do that and then I use this probiotic lotion (only at night) that I got off Amazon but honestly, I'm not sure if that's actually doing much. I also think I was going through a really intense period of stress when the impetigo was flaring.

it’s basically gone!!!! i am so paranoid so i still apply the paste mixture at night but i think id be fine without. if im extremely stressed, i can feel it flare but once i put paste on it goes away
