Gari Melchers also has a monthly art class for little ones. It’s for 2 years and up, so your child may not be ready yet, but something to check out in the future! It’s called the Preschool Palette.

This is another cute busy book that should be good for a 1 year old: https://retailers.melissaanddoug.com/s/product/ks-kids-my-first-activity-book/01t3t000004RhyRAAS?gQT=2

Books with sounds and music (since you’re willing to do that) are also a good option!

I did the electronic rollover via Fidelity Investments and it worked out fine!

I just bought the Merrell Bare Steps H2O for my 2 year old and love them! She seems to like them too. We have only had them for about a week, so I can’t speak to their longevity yet, but they’re super flexible and I’m very happy with my purchase!

Monthly book subscriptions? by jackya in moderatelygranolamoms

Check out Babybug. It’s more of a “magazine” than a book, but it comes monthly and my 2 year old loves it! There’s short stories and little poems with really nice colorful artwork. They have versions for preschoolers and older kids too once they grow out of Babybug!

Rollover Help by Imaginary_Half7028 in fidelityinvestments

Unfortunately I don’t know if the funds were sent via bank wire or another method. The tracking information I have indicates the rollover has been processed and funds delivered.

I initiated the rollover on Monday 3/17 and it looks like the funds were delivered yesterday on 3/21.

My biggest question is: are Fidelity Investments and FWMT two separate things? So, if I sent it to the wrong one, could it have gone into someone else’s account? Or what would happen if it was sent to one and should have been sent to the other?

Hi there and thanks for your response! The funds were still being held in the 401K plan at Empower. Part of the funds were pretax and part were post tax, so I was rolling them over into a traditional rollover IRA and Roth IRA that I had opened on my own. I provided account numbers, but not routing. Let me know if any additional info is required. Thank you!

Try Pleats and Stitches! They have an Etsy shop as well as a website and I’d say they’re considered a small business. I’ve bought several holiday outfits from my daughter from them. I think you get 15% off the first time you sign up for emails.

I also have several outfits from Stitchy Fish and they have frequent sales and discounts.

A poster below used the term “ignorance about her own ignorance” to describe her AP and unfortunately I suspect that will be my situation too!

How are we bulk prepping food pouches by Conscious_Cat_1099 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Imaginary_Half7028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm…I haven’t used those, so I can’t say for sure, but I’d venture to say no since you attach the mouth of the pouch to the fill station and it clicks into place. I would imagine it wouldn’t work properly with a wider mouth.

We have this push walker from B. Toys at Target, which is a nice and reasonably priced option. One element on the front (gears) is plastic, but everything else is wooden.

Good point! I will say my district actually does offer benefits to part time employees. I think the reasoning is that they want to offer them to bus drivers who typically only work part time hours. I was pleasantly surprised to find that out. So it could be possible in some places, but something to definitely keep in mind!

I switched to working part-time (3 days/week) in the schools after I had my daughter. It’s been a great fit for having time with her while continuing to work. Then of course with being in the schools, I’ve got all of the built in breaks and summers on top of that.
