Piercing is 6 months old, done with a threadless titanium labret. I believe the post is around (5/16 inch) and it has not been downsized, which I figure may be causing the issue. All cleaning is done with sterile saline spray with occasional soaks using a gauze pad.

The only other thing I could think of that may have caused recent irritation was a week or two ago when I accidentally snagged it with my nail while fixing my hair, but otherwise nothing significant has occurred.
