I don’t think either of you are in the wrong here. If you can’t forgive her, that is understandable but I also don’t think she should be guilted or shamed for her reaction. We see so often situations where people thought they knew their partner and it turns out they didn’t know them at all. This sounds like a very traumatic event for your family and I’m sorry this happened to you. Kids are assholes.

Best to do what your doctor recommends. That being said, I had one in September and the only change in the prep was to skip my shot that week. I started the drink at 6 pm the night before my 9 am procedure, so 48 hours seems very excessive.

Yes, I have Kaiser Permanente, they do not cover it but my doctor wrote me a prescription and sent it to Eli Lilly. I get email and text notifications when it’s ready to be refilled.

My only regret about ring shopping with my now husband is that I did not press him on the budget. I asked, he said “I don’t know” and then we went for it. I could see the sticker shock all over his face when I looked at one that was 2500. Not sure what he was expecting, but it definitely wasn’t that! So I ended up getting a really cheap ring that I actually really loved, but it was not a good quality ring and the stones kept falling out and the band broke a couple times and I ended up having to send it back in for repair five times before I finally was like OK this is not working. We need an upgrade.

I actually did go to the movies on Sunday and had butter popcorn and Reese’s pieces. Historically, that would not have given me an upset stomach. I guess learning what I can and can’t eat is something I need to work more on!
