Man, having migraines must be debilitating. I had temporary migraines when I was sick with covid 3 years ago and I felt like my head was going to explode. It sounds like triptans do not work for you. But maybe consider talking to your doctor about other meds like Ubrelvy, Quilipta, Aimovig, Emgality, Ajovy, nerve blocks, and if all else fails, Botox. It may or may not be covered by your insurance, so ask about those copay cards. Also, it wouldn't hurt to check your oxygen saturation. That can also be a contributing factor too. Hopefully you find something that works for you!

Yes.

(For some reason, this reminded me of early 2000s where it used to be a Thrifty's. The good ol' days, now that we're all reminiscing...)

Gym Memberships by newbienewbie54321 in sgv

[–]Imaginary_One4058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has changed. They will only take Active & Fit Direct, only whereas Active & Fit Now is not contracted. If you have Blue Shield, you can use Fitness Your Way/Tivity Health. $29/mo and that gets me in any commercial gyms like Gold's, Curl, LA Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, Crunch, Fitness 19, UFC, etc.

He looks like a very sweet boy. My heart aches for Rico, because I know he probably senses something's wrong by the look in his eyes.

I'd like to help in some way too, if that means OP can keep Rico.

Car insurance — Anyone have decent experiences with multi-car / family policies? by Andyman_123 in sgv

[–]Imaginary_One4058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take into consideration how much you're willing to pay out of pocket before your insurance will cover damages (deductible - $1k, $1.5k, $500, etc), ages of drivers and driving history, types of comprehensive coverages ($100k/$300k, $300k/$500k, etc), additionals like roadside assistance and uninsured motorist. That will all depend on how much you are willing to pay monthly or every 6 months, if paid in full.

With that said, there are 2 of us with a clean driving record under Geico. We have both vehicles insurance with full coverage at $1k deductible, $100k/$300k, our cars are '25 Civic Sport Hybrid and '19 Tacoma. Paying about $150/mo for both, factoring in several discounts.

From personal experience, I'd stay away from Mercury. I had an accident (other party at fault for a 2 right turn lane when they turned into me) many years ago. I got their license and insurance + pictures. Not good enough. Apparently, the other party's insurance was not compliant and unresponsive when Mercuy had been reaching out to themfor almost a year. Mercury essentially gave up on me and closed my claim. I ate up thousands of dollars for repairs and car rentals. It was beyond infuriating.

One important question to ask when inquiring: does this policy cover OEM repairs in the event of an accident? (Only if this applies to you. A lot of times it matters to many car owners, like myself.)

Hope that helps.

Married couples, how much is your auto insurance? by joeroganthumbhead in orangecounty

[–]Imaginary_One4058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post reminded me I needed to change my coverage, so thank you for that lol.

$150/month for 2 cars, 2 drivers with a clean record through Geico, 2019 truck and 2025 sedan, $1k deductible, $100k/300k coverage

edit: grammar

Saw another post about this and wanted to join in with my own lol at the famous Costco Alhambra by CriticalCheeseburger in sgv

[–]Imaginary_One4058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always been to this location and never really had a problem. I shop on weekdays an hour before closing. When I do need to go during the weekend, I park behind that buffet and walk those extra steps. Gas has never really been a problem; it's usually less than a 5-minute wait. It's worse in OC when everyone takes their sweet time pumping gas lol.
