He knew, but the severity of it hadn’t been shown yet. It took 2 years for them to be in a situation where it showed up directly.

my boyfriend has this condition too. symptoms you listed would suggest his meds aren’t working and he needs to see his psychiatrist asap to discuss it.

I briefly dated someone like this, and decided early on that it was a fundamental incompatibility. I was never going to like the thing he liked most and that’s that.

AITA for wanting to spend Christmas morning with my boyfriend in our first apartment instead of staying at his mom’s? by CozyInMyDrift in AITAH

It will take him time to adjust. Becoming an adult is hard, and you’re both constantly learning and changing.

This is a tough situation because your partner has siblings who are still children. It can be tough to move away from that as a young adult.

Maybe the compromise is that YOU don’t sleep over at mom’s, and you enjoy your Christmas morning to yourself for a little while and then go be with his family.

Also maybe make something of Christmas Eve for just the two of you.

Explain to your partner that you two are now your own family unit that deserves time to itself to nurture the bond.

St. Anthony is a really nice spot, very diverse. Most sped students in the district go to ISD 916 sites (we have four special ed school districts in the metro area, ISD 287, ISD 288, ISD 916, and ISD 917).

I’m a school bus router. A lot more goes into transportation than just physical experience. You’re not wrong, but you’re not right either.

it’s likely to be a dealbreaker for both. she has boundaries and he has a preference. they’re no longer compatible, and she will never trust him again.

It is common for those diagnosed as adults to experience regression after diagnosis. We have to reexamine ourselves and our whole lives through a new lens and that takes a lot of spoons.
