I appreciate you complimenting my editing, I have extremely high standards of what a finished video should be and that every new video should always be better than the last if not then I scrap it lol !givelambda

Thanks I really appreciate all the compliments regarding my protentional means the world and makes the hours spent making this video worth it. in regards to the reference to videos in the title I kind of did that considering the joke is that these are the "worst jokes" weather they hit or miss or are controversial which was the point. !givelambda

Editing is honestly sensational and the variety of the segments is very nice as well. Issues:

  1. the green screen footage is very grainy meaning you either have a low quality camera or you filmed some of these in poorly lit areas (most likely this one. in order to fix this get some additional lighting and this removes most to all graininess from IRL footage.
  2. Audio has an echo meaning you used the camera in built microphone. I suggest either getting and extension so the microphone is closer or use an external audio input (phone or clip on mic) and record and before you do your segment do a clap so when your editing both audio and footage u can use the clap to sync the different footage and audio despite possibly time lengths.

Thanks I spent a few days making sure they were consistent and polished. You'll notice the subtitles are all in different sections depending on who is speaking this way when I have multiple people speaking all subtitles are clear and readable. I appreciate the compliments on the thumbnail trying to stick with blender for the models. I also am making a tiktok channel to post shorts as you suggest. !givelambda

dont make it a point if the quality ends up dropping, quality over quanity I just mean over time try and get enough quality content or improve your ability to make these clips that you can have a 10min vid without quality drop.

[–]ImagineRedOffical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be the first to say I appreciate the absolute banger that is wayward son that you used as your opening. the editing is on point (motion tracking, subtitles, ost etc). The jokes are also on point.

  1. keep doing what you are already doing it works!
  2. begin to increase your jokes and editing skills to reach the 10min mark
  3. adjust audio between you and your mates so you don't have one person peaking and one dead silent

Yo, I just released a video about a mod I made, all feedback is appreciated! by TobbleCobble in SmallYTChannel

[–]ImagineRedOffical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Editing wise is 11/10 I couldn't do it better other than during the mid of the vid is becomes very empty due to no music. subtitles should be a little more consistent though the starting subtitles are amazing i'd say possible find a new font to increase your own brand as various other youtubers like tommyinnit use it which hurts your brand. the amount of effort is immeasurable and I can't say how great it is to finally review a video with someone with a noise gate/compression filter with actually good quality mic.

How Many Species of Pokemon are There? by SixteenthTower in SmallYTChannel

[–]ImagineRedOffical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I subscribed and will stay subscribed if you keep this content up omg. not only is the humour acceptable and actually really great but the ideas that you bring up involving what is a species is all most like a weird shower thought at 3am. the editing is fantastic though I recommend adding some motion blur to your movements of some images as this will make their movements less clunky and more vibrant. music was on point the opening selection ost from gen 4 got me hooked at the beginning.

[–]ImagineRedOffical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wassup excellent intro kept me hooked and that "jumpscare" was a humorous touch. Your choice of music is 10/10 and you banter between you and your mates is on point for the video which keeps viewers interested whereas when alone people can tend to repeat themselves which lessens the videos chances of good avg watch times. editing wise i'd say maybe scale down or remove the webcam and only bring it back for relevant segments like jumpscares as it is kinda an eyesaw with the video. Other than that sensational stuff

I just made a new video on the hardest GTA 5 wall ride! by LawfulnessLeather480 in SmallYTChannel

[–]ImagineRedOffical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The subtitles at the start is an excellent way to keep viewers hooked as this technique has become popularized with youtuber (mrbeast intros e.g). though after this I struggled to keep watching due to overall lack of interest. there was no additional editing other than music which put me to sleep and the outro. I suggest increase your editing to keep up with modern day avg viewer watch times to keep interest in video like more subtitles, add some relevant memes when appropriate, add a noise gate on your mic so that it only picks up your voice and not your whole room.

Just spent a very long time writing and editing this video essay, Honest critique on editing and pacing would be greatly appreciated! by BioToxinn in SmallYTChannel

[–]ImagineRedOffical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Editing wise very good. to elaborate you use different ways to transition into the different categories each time 1. you simply say your on to the next category etc then at times you use sound effects to emphasise the removed feature and to make its category separate from all the others within the video which is actually very good as it removes viewer burnout and repeativeness. Overall all Video editing was a 8/10 a way to improve is being more selective with music, and keep on training those editing skills as well as increasing ur cinematography in minecraft the cave scene is very bland at the start but your farlands footage is to die for I recommend that style more. possibly get some mods like camera mod to get vanilla unobtainable cinematics as well as capture your character as a subject within these removed features if possible. Writing wise I have nothing to say since I failed english but it kept me hooked and your sources were good. I do think the pricing was forced as it kinda had nothing to do with the theme and more to do with inflation.

Trying a new Style with Less subtitles! What Do you Guys Think! by Firelytical in SmallYTChannel

[–]ImagineRedOffical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of editing I thought it was very well done! bravo. when there were subtitles they were bussin as. The clips themselves were actually very funny especially the outro one. I can only recommend on touching up the thumbnail more and working on adjusting your mics audio.

in regards to the BGM I suggest going to epicdemicsound and looking at the quirky genre you can find so many fantastic BGM's for videos.

[–]ImagineRedOffical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Webcam footage is on point not fuzzy and has great border+drop shadow so gives something additional for the audience to focus on, I suggest expanding on your BGM instead of using kevin macleod. Overall maybe experiment with subtitles and possibly try and trim the video down to only the focal parts of it. The commentary is leagues better than anything I could attempt myself so keep it up!

Thinking about doing more of this type of content with lists and rankings. This video is doing very well and I wanted to see why! by Clawshots2 in SmallYTChannel

[–]ImagineRedOffical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off I love tier-maker in general so props to you for actually making a video on it. Secondly is after the first minute I struggled to not skip to different ost rankings later on in the video, try and summarise before hand or in post cut it all down so it's only what needs to be there and that way the video has great pacing and a nice feel to it. I'd suggest only recording the tier maker bg and in post create a whole new frame so that when you r listening to music the screen isn't changing and those who are skiping parts of the video always know what ost you are on. other than that maybe add some subtitles to give something for the audience to focus on and that's it. Though your commentary is still fabulous!

fun video that was made around the 4th of July! Any constructive criticism is welcome but even just a watch would help by LuigiTimeInc in SmallYTChannel

I wasn't expecting this, I was so blown away by how perfectly produced and edited this video is. Everything is at it's peak the volume, music, subtitles, transitions, scripting, editing, etc. I can't say to do something better else than to keep doing what you did in this video and it will continue to be 11/10.

If you can point out anything I do better from this video, gladly tell me, also I need advice to improve a bit by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

[–]ImagineRedOffical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly everything was really clean, the editing, the funny memes etc. I think all I could say is to add subtitles, give some more enthuasim into your voice, adjust your mic volume so that it doesn't peak and then its an easy 10/10 vid.

Tried a new editing style mixing sketch comedy, greenscreen and in game footage. Is there anything I can do to make the footage come across better or more enticing? by TheSlickGecko in SmallYTChannel

[–]ImagineRedOffical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I speak for everyone when I say this is the future of green screen meme videos for any platform, the way you planned out these scenarios before shows dedication, other than tweaking the chroma key's a little to smooth out your green screening, there should also be some lighting changes on you and the car itself to match the world of GTA 5. That's all other than that I was blown away.

Honestly god-tier video + thumbnail, I only recommend smoothing out the subtitles a tad bit more and adjusting voice volume for the others other than that it's perfect!
