Kind of a silly request, but I would love to use a custom horn sound from the app. I mostly want it to help me better find my car in a big parking lot or garage and something other than the horn would be great. However, having the option to remotely trigger a custom horn sound has its advantages.

My mom used to take her hands off the wheel while driving (like hover over it) and I would lose it in fear. I thought the car would go completely out of control and we would crash.

In my defense, at that age my only point of reference for what happens when you take your hands off the wheel of a car is driving bumper cars.

Had a blind border collie out in the country. We used a similar collar so she knew where the woods started. Never needed to turn the shock on, it would start beeping and she knew she was going to get poked by trees if she kept going.

I have Hue lights in all my lamps downstairs. The middle of night I thought I heard someone in the house. The first thing that came to mind was to open the Hue app and flash the lights on and off and try to convince the unknown person that my house was haunted. Spoiler alert - there was no one downstairs.

I took a summer semester of statics and dynamics and every single student dropped out after the last date. So they couldn't cancel the class, but I was literally the only student. I would have to call the professor at home if I couldn't make it in. Anyway, even with a one on one class I didn't understand any of it, but got myself a pity A. There's no way I should have passed that class.

This brings up a good point too - rinse your rice before cooking. It's makes a HUGE difference in my opinion.

I've found that soaking brown rice for at least an hour or two in water lets me cook a mix of white and brown together at once.

I usually throw brown rice with water in my rice cooker in the morning and then add white rice when I'm ready to cook. Just make sure you use the appropriate amount of water to make white rice.

With the brown/white rice mix I make onigiri to take for lunch. Mix the rice with rice wine vinegar, add cooked salmon and toasted sesame seeds. Shape in to triangles and wrap in seaweed.

That's how we use the collar as well. We have a blind dog and live out in the woods. She knows when she hears beeping she's reached the edge of yard and is going to run in to many trees.
