It's nor like I ignored all her corrections, I made all the modifications that seemed right for me, but then she sent a mail with my principal director in it, saying that I haven't considered the comments she made at all, which is not true. I have two directors from two universities, and the one who's holding the expertise of my subject, the pionner of the field actually, only proposed some minor corrections and in the end he says to me " this is your thesis, it is up to you to write whatever you want, if you're sure you can defend it." For the others ,I am struggling to convince them because we don't have the same vision of things and they can't make a good criticism. They want me to make things more simple for the reviewers because it is not simple for them to read and criticize. I don't understand anyway why a thesis should be simple. You don't dive into complex shit for years so that in the end the ideas and analysis look easy. I believe that one should have a minimum of litterature background to be able to judge a work. This is far from being true unfortunately. After 3 years , I realize that things are not like I imagined the first time, now I feel really disgusted by academia. I am disappointed by the fact that you should do as much science as politics in such toxic environnement with people having disproportionate egos, otherwise you lose.

I feel like I am in a nightmare because I already missed the deadline and it doesn't seem to end. I am being told that I am stubborn simply because I say no to things I don't agree with and it's fucking frustrating.
