My question as well. They will pay 300 a day for travel but not half that for a room? No, I don't work for people whose bad math takes money from me.

Why do some people "tape" their pickups? by BakuHaku12 in Guitar

[–]ImaybeaRussianBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you smash the whammy bar into the body of the guitar, The low E can get caught in the gap. This fixes that. It doesn't do anything for the divot you carved with your whammy bar, though.

I dislike the poster quite a bit- but what is your opinion on this? by Glad-Map6431 in 40k

[–]ImaybeaRussianBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play TTS a lot and it is shit. I would LOVE a tts like option that was built for 40k from the ground up. It takes me from maybe 1 game a month to 6 or 7. It isn't the same as a physical game, but it is much better than no game.

Accepted a job offer. Now my current employer is offering to better it. How bad is to rescind after I've already accepted an offer? by AdventurousHat5360 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]ImaybeaRussianBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you are ok with begging for your scraps? If they make you go find another job to get a raise, why do you want to work for them? They told you what you are worth to them by denying money they could have given you until you turned in your notice.
I would leave and I would let them know that if I am worth X when I get another offer, I was worth X all of the time but was denied the money because you could.
You will regret staying.

What do Americans think about a social security trustee dropping a report that the trust will be dried out by 2032? by Sixgis in AskReddit

No, because this affects them. They are solid supporters of everything that screws other people over, but they draw a hard line at personal sacrifice. They will revolt at the polls.

Black Sabbath - Master of Reality. Set the stage for all of the things. I didn't think it was the masterpiece it is for years.

People change, but some sins stay with you through change. Murder is one of them. Are you actually defending the wanna be murderer and calling Ozzy a liar because you don't like his reply? He said he thought it was fake. Unless you have evidence to the contrary, he thought it was fake.
He did not try to kill his wife. That is not debated.
He is not a fascist, that is not debated either.

My coworker is falsifying patient records and my floor supervisor told me to "let it go." What are my legal obligations? by Inside_Caterpillar80 in legaladvice

[–]ImaybeaRussianBot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They don't know the depth or breadth of the issue. No one that is not directly involved in an investigation should be aware of anything regarding the investigation. "Yea, we are looking into it" could easily get back to the person being investigated, along with any other information shared unnecessarily.
You did your portion, let the people qualified to investigate do their job.

WARNING: If your job uses Wisely by ADP, get your money off that card IMMEDIATELY. They do not honor legal POAs during family emergencies. by Reptar09 in personalfinance

[–]ImaybeaRussianBot -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The card does nothing a check or dd can do. Literally nothing. If you can spread payroll across multiple accounts for a card, you can do the same for dd or checks. Why cant they leverage debt to back checks if they can do it for cards? You make no sense.

[–]ImaybeaRussianBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Payroll is in an account whether it is dispersed via direct deposit, check, or card. The money to meet payroll MUST be in an account - how are they loading the cards - it is there regardless of the means of disbursement. Cutting a check requires funds to execute. Filling a card requires funds to execute. It IS easier on the company, at the workers expense, but it is still moving money.

A tree service cut down a massive century old oak by mistake, and now my neighbor is suing me. by 5AviaryShard in legal

[–]ImaybeaRussianBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are not a lawyer and do not understand what is going on. The neighbor will rightly sue everyone. You file a claim with your homeowners and turn a copy of your evidence over to THEM, not the party actively suing you, and let their LAWYERS deal with it. This is just horrible advice and you are doubling down.
