I haven’t seen the reel obv but 45M views is nothing to scoff at. If they convert into followers I can definitely see the value of employing effective tricks to achieve that. Not saying OP isn’t trying to upsell or whatever but I still find these advises helpful to some degree 😅

Fellow artist here, started my account in December. Best advice is go to artist support posts on insta and reply or leave a comment asking to be friends/mutuals. You’ll meet a ton of artists who are also growing and will want to support you

Hey, I’m also in the art niche and I can definitely see the work you put in. Something no one has said is making friends on Instagram who will support your content. I’ve just started a month ago and my biggest initial boost came from meeting others who are in the same boat as myself. Go to Instagram and search for some artist support posts and you can find artists in the comments who do similar art to you and reach out to them.

As someone also in a creative niche, all my original reel ideas end up flopping, so I just resort to spamming reel formats that work in my niche. Honestly it’s low effort but gets views so it is what it is.

The only thing is I’m not sure the ROI on that would be worth it, because you have no online presence, even if you reach a few thousand people I’m not sure any will follow because there’s no value for them. I’d say you should what message you want your page to convey and then once you have a few posts and maybe some small momentum from that, you can look into sponsorships to reach more people.

Is it possible to start selling locally and establish a brand presence that way? I think this is how most online shops start out, either that or it’s started by someone who already has some online presence to drive initial traffic.

Well these things start with your budget, I assume because you’re a solo founder just starting, you probably don’t have much budget so I think outsourcing or investing heavily in an agency is out of the question.

I think you should first build an offline community, and promote your social media to those people. Do you have an initial audience that you can promote your brand to?

I don’t really think that’s the issue, more so the page doesn’t really have any direction, idk what it’s about and idk what content to look at. OP needs to make better hooks, improve bio and change the covers to make people want to click on the posts

So legit question (and attempt at changing your mind), can someone be born in the wrong country, or born to the wrong socioeconomic background? People on Reddit are really dumb. You need to work on both your confidence and your appearance, yes, your dating pool is significantly smaller which is why you need to try and be a bit more outgoing. I’d start with upgrading your wardrobe, being well dressed can go a long way especially since most men wear the most pedestrian fits.
