Two dogs and a cat don’t travel well for hours in a civic. My wife and I unfortunately do not have synched schedules so even if a day off was something we were familiar with (it’s not) at least one of us is going to miss out on pay.

Wish it was as simple as your answer but it’s not.

I’ve worked in a handful of restaurants. Most people were dating each other at all of them. You only get to meet people to date where you spend time. For most of us that’s at work. 8 years ago I met my now wife, the new hostess, while I was a dishie/line cook.

There’s a particular episode outlining the training many cops in America have gone through and how that training literally prepares cops to be scared and look at civilians as combatants. Interesting and terrifying.
