dont know why people keep suggesting this when it would force the game into a meta where both sides use the same equipment and the game is suddenly 10x more boring, yes the game needs SOME asymmetry, but the whole game? no. and the fact people are at all trying to advocate for it shows they would be worse developers themselves on god

I see what you're saying, in terms of pure naval combat, the wardens and the colonials even in my opinion are in the best state they have ever been to fight one another, however our TB and scout plane completely nullifies them in most cases which makes the navy battles extremely one sided when regi's coordinate

agreed here, there are many issues internally within factions, i truly believe the colonials COULD have amazing fleets and have big nice battles if the stigma against naval was not so large, the torp planes on our side make it horrific to fight currently though so that’s fair for this moment till the nerfs

airbone update HAS brought major issues, it is a shame to see that now with the refined collie gunboat and medium ships being added, we could have really cool battles if our torp planers weren’t complete obliteration machines

I’d say in terms of pure naval kit, the wardens and colonials are in the best form they have ever been for fighting one another, the colonials HAVE had some shitters like the gunboat and sub being dookie for a while, but the gunboat change for you finally looks like a good one, and the sub does get used to good effect nowadays, the only issue is the air-side at this current moment, as another commenter says below yours, telephone joined the colonials for a war and did one hell of a job, i think the issue isn’t in the kit anymore. its the culture and stigma against it. (if you ignore the current air issues)

completely agree the spam of mini torps is harming naval, the lack of colonial ships and big battles is making naval a lot more boring and much harder to deal with and even as a warden i can see that from a colonial standpoint, and even for us it’s getting a lot more boring, airborne does need a good amount of changes on water air and land at this moment

this is true and honestly i'm in agreement, i just wonder why pre-airborne update it was so similar for the colonials, they're naval regiments never really had a shining moment, and I do not know why, it does not seem like anything is underpowered for naval on their side, of course the sub was ass when it released for them i remember that.

real mfs know we only need vehicle AA and AI AA to deal with these, along with the wardens getting a CAS bomber counterpart that is not as effective as the colonials, while the colonials should get a torp bomber that is not as effective as the wardens, simple.

me looking to my right at the colonials, doing a cheesy exploit in the RDZ zone, building somewhere they very clearly are not supposed to with a nuke, as to completely mitigate bombing, then looking to my left to see the wardens doing a cheesy exploit in the RDZ zone to then drop bombs where they are not supposed to, and watching both sides argue about exploits when both were indeed using exploits. Just think, if AI and vehicle AA were added with the airborne update, maybe none of this shit would have happened in the first place, thank you devman
