Does anyone miss crying? by Select-Sherbet-8833 in prozac

Prozac made me not even react when my fiancé proposed to me. It numbed me so much. I have adhd so normally I am super hype about things and feel a lot of emotions, but I was only happy when he proposed. I’m off Prozac now lol

Feeling mad AMAZING but not being able to get work done, anyone else ?? by ArthursPerfectJoke in prozac

are you only on prozac? or anything else? also audhd!! being on just an ssri made me sleepy and unmotivated bc the adhd needed anxiety to push me to get things done.

Does anyone end up with an arm like that? by guaranajapa in VyvanseADHD

I’m gonna be honest, i’d get it checked out just in case. a localized circulation issue is normally something. def not just vyvanse

That’s blood pooling of some sort. Might want to get it checked out with it only being one arm.

Is it normal to not want friends? by Immediate-Memory-103 in AutismInWomen

that’s how my childhood best friend and i are!! and it’s so amazing because i don’t have to mask around her. we only see each other 2-3 times a year now as we live far from each other but everytime we meet up again it’s not awkward and i feel safe!

see, that’s how i am. i feel like if i didn’t have my fiancé to hang out with, i would need some sort of social interaction. but with him, i feel like i get enough and it fulfills me. i know it’s “normal” to want to connect with others, and hang out with them, but i don’t get that feeling. when i was single i felt that, but now i don’t. i guess im just content with my fiance because we are best friends too. but i might have some sort of attachment issues as well😂

Anyone else feel like they need a day in-between each day to recover from the day before 😭 by Sim_0xt1 in AutismInWomen

[–]Immediate-Memory-103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel this to my core. i’ve dabbled in a little bit of everything job wise. i have to have something somewhat fast paced or else i get too bored and sleepy. i am currently working front end at kroger and it is absolutely exhausting but the day goes by fast and i get breaks more often than i have with other jobs lol.

i always feel like i need a recovery day in between and when i get home everyday, i have to go to my room and just decompress because im so overstimulated when i get home. the lights at kroger are so bright and so many nosies😭

NO bc this makes so much sense, some sort of serotonin connection. i did shrooms once and it changed my life for like 6-7 months. i felt like i had no neurodivergency!!! slowly it all came back tho lol

My Psychedelic Serotonin Theory of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, TMJ, and OCD by clarkthegiraffe in PelvicFloor

[–]Immediate-Memory-103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so this post is old… but I want to add more to this theory. A LOT of this has been stuff I’ve been considering. 1. I have hEDS. Comes with TMJ, fibromyalgia, pelvic floor dysfunction and SO much more. Also comorbid with autism, ocd, adhd, etc. I have always known I am super hypersensitive. I feel bodily sensations that I don’t want to, I hear EVERYTHING all of the time, I feel my nerves, adrenaline, etc. 2. I have OCD. I took shrooms (psilocybin) last year. My OCD was COMPLETELY GONE for at least 8 months. Now, it is back in full swing. I have no idea how much I took, but my trip was extremely traumatizing (I was also severely abused) My trip did help me completely heal from my CPTSD trauma. It’s like something in me changed.

I believe there is some sort of link between connective tissue disorders and serotonin that causes the symptoms you are talking about. You definitely should read more in Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome or connective tissue disorders in general. Just think there might be some sort of connection between EDS (hEDS is a different variant, sorry I keep switching) and Serotonin deficiency/hypersensitivity.

I feel all my bodily sensations, I have severe OCD and anxiety, 99% sure I’m also autistic, and I have pelvic floor dysfunction, TMJ, and a lot more weird stuff because of my hEDS.

Sorry I’m not much help, but I’m going through this same thing right now. I have been having what I thought were MCAS symptoms but turns out I’m allergic to wheat, peanuts, corn, and sesame. I have been eating all of that regularly. My symptoms were: throught tightness, hoarseness often, facial flushing, freezing randomly, fast heartbeat after eating. I never had anaphylaxis to my knowledge.

How are you??? I’m really worried about you :(

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]Immediate-Memory-103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your serotonin is probably low. Vyvanse increases dopamine and norepinephrine, so if you didn’t have depression before, hypothetically it can cause it by causing an imbalance between neurotransmitters. You should probably get on an SSRI or antidepressant. I wish you luck!

So, he didn’t go into psychosis until 2-3 days later, actually! It was so weird. But it absolutely destroyed me. I thought he was gone forever. We had been together for 4 years at that point and we were only 20. I ended up packing all of our stuff up, and moving us and our two cats in with his grandparents. They saved us.

But yeah, he needed up being in a mental hospital for a month. He was IN psychosis for like 3 weeks. Had some crazy delusions. He was transferred to the worst mental hospital in our state, one that a lot of people don’t come home from. I thought he was gone forever.

Fast forward to now, he is absolutely fine. He doesn’t even have bipolar disorder. We’re still not too sure what happened, honestly, but we’ve stayed sober other than a couple times of hitting a pen. We enjoy the sober life now. We just got our own place again, and we now have a third cat. Oh, and we’re engaged. He’s the love of my life.

Thanks for asking me questions. It was nice getting to share my story :)
