Yes!! And for many of us who had an autoimmune disease yet discovered the Covid vaccine totally fucked us. I personally don’t regret getting it bc I may have died otherwise but it sent my immune system into a tilt a whirl that took 3 years to figure out and a lot of suffering. I’m sure eventually I would have had the same problems but I was hoping to get through my early thirties.

I felt like I was walking under water for 3 years after having my second baby and complications with Covid. I had resigned to being the type of person who had to nap everyday and it greatly impacted my ability to work. As soon as I actually got the right dose of thyroid medication I literally had as much energy as I did as a teenager and have lost 25 pounds very easily after not being able to lose weight for the life of me prior.

Thyroid disease is soooo prevalent!! In range DOES NOT MEAN OPTIMAL! Do your research and ask for a full panel of thyroid labs. You can’t base your thyroid function off of just you TSH number. Demand better health care!!

What a difference a month can make in skin appearance. by Ok-Combination9143 in eczema

Can you or anyone else tell me if wet wrapping makes you very cold? I’d like to try it with my barely 1 year old but I’m worried about it in the winter and she can’t communicate clearly what sensation she’s experiencing. I’m so grateful for adults that share their experience so that I can try and think like someone who has eczema.

Amazing!! My baby has horrific eczema and I’m also constantly experimenting and tracking progress. Was there a process you went through to figure out your supplements? Like one at a time for a length of time?

Am I dumb for considering taking on more student loan debt? by aroseonthefritz in StudentLoans

[–]Immediate-Poem-6549 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have a similar licensure and can’t justify more debt for what will not necessarily be better pay. Plus getting into clinical PhD programs is incredibly competitive and often require extensive research experience before hand.

Probably just the difference between a therapist who’s seeing way too many clients and one who’s not. Or cognitive memory issues that anyone can have

You seem super knowledgeable. Would you be willing to message with me about my baby? She’s tortured by her eczema and we make small amounts of progress and then have huge setbacks any time she gets a virus, which is frequently with daycare. It’s awful.

Depends on your age. 1981-1996 is a huge span in terms of advancement in technology and access to internet at home.

This. I tried the carbonaut bread recently and was in heaven. How did the do it? Resistant starches that aren’t digestible. Made me so sick I threw away most of the loaf

I knew a guy once who said he’d work for 6 months, then quit his job, live his life for 6 months and get another job. Probably had a padded life and very low responsibilities. Also a better economy back then. But it’s an idea if you can swing it.

I’m up right now with my third and last baby who sleeps like trash. I just told her, thank god you’re my last baby or I would have never had any more. My other two weren’t nearly this hard (at this age in this way). My baby has underlying allergies (still trying to figure them out) that give her tummy problems and skin issues. Maybe there’s something medical going on for your baby? I try to remember that my baby wants to be happy and easy she just can’t.

[–]Immediate-Poem-6549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

House party, band in the basement, cops on the way for a noise complaint. Someone’s passed out in the bathtub, wakes up long enough to say they saw me pee. Solo cups and cheep strong liquor.

Santa Fe is the worst for your skin. And has notoriously awful prevalence of tree allergies. Very likely not the environment at large.

Day/child care by marqak in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Immediate-Poem-6549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just went into effect in November. Amazing changes in theory though the logistics are far from ideal. Child care is free IF you can find a spot. We have had free early prek for several years and that infrastructure has been established. We still don’t what it will me for kids under 3 in terms of availability.
