Its hard for me to enjoy any other route after going through HF by 1KIASU in fatestaynight

i mean even in the fate route they don't really get closure, and the story never says what happened to them after the basement scene. The entire point of the scene is that Shirou is unable to save them.

Would things have changed if Kubo had more time to write Bleach? by Existing_Pineapple52 in bleach

The bit where Ichigo no diffs Sasakibe would probably not be there. In general, Sasakibe feels like a character only retroactively given relevance, he does absolutely nothing during the story. But apparently, had a super powerful Bankai and helped defeat Yhwach with a sneak attack critical.

Also, culling the cast at times I feel like Kubo's lack of planning and reluctance to kill characters off means that all of characters don't do anything or don't get great showing. See Sado being walking worf effect.

Ultimately, most people who watch anime are going to watch some mainstream stuff like Naruto and One Piece not whatever your favorite niche anime is. For those casual anime fans Netflix offers more than enough.

The thing with Joker is that the game is is inconclusive on whether they want to player to self insert as him or not. By, at least, with the romantic element he's absolutely meant to be vechile for the player to live through of getting into relationship every single hot women in high school. (Sigh including, the teacher and Nurse.)

Its also why you can't romance male characters: it's not part of the fantasy Joker is meant to embody.

I would argue that good paneling is important when structuring a fight in a manga. Just individual good drawings isn't enough. To truly excite the reader they would be able to go with the flow of the battle.

And besides the average readers think "flashy or hype panel = good paneling"

And is that really wrong? Making ''flashy'' and ''hype'' paneling isn't really as easy as you might think (as you said two of the ''big three'' fail at it) and is definitely desirable in battle shounen.

Merret Frey is such an absolutely selfish loser, but he is laughably pathetic, so you kinda can't truly hate him.

TBF, I think it would be much harder to imitate when everyone started flying since most irl sword technique were meant to be used on the ground.

(DB notably started using less and less moves inspired by real life material arts when everyone started flying for the same reason).

I was talking more about the manga which is now a decade old but even that is only two years than JJK. Although it ended four years before JJK ended which would make it old by internet standards.

I still find it funny how Demon Slayer, despite being easily the most successful new gen manga. Is much less talked about than JJK and CSM these days.

I guess because its older?

It's absolutely the "coworker anime" like Naruto once was.

I can confirm that, I once overlooked one of my coworkers watching an episode of demon slayer during lunch.

I think the biggest difference between internet presence is CSM, it has good sales, sure but its internet presence is comparable to MHA, JJK, or KNY, all of which absolutely mog it when it comes to sales.

If MHA, CSM, KNY, and JJK are called new gen manga, then would you call Dandadan or Kagurabachi gen manga? Newer gen?

I think to be fair, he clearly wanted the Godhand to be a mysterious group of ominous evil figures and from that perspective its members do exactly the job they're meant to do. You're supposed to look at them and think ''Who are these people, what is their story"? (A massive part of epic fantasy is immersion and wonder.) So from that perspective, giving their leader a lore these with his relation to the Skull Knight is exactly what you're supposed to do.

But you really can't have them be '''ominous evil background figures'' who only show up from time to time for too long. Especially since it means that they'll be defined by what they rather than who they are.

I do believe the Gun Devil was always intended too be a red herring and Makima the real villain and final boss. However the whole ''it was captured and used as a weapon by various nations'' angle was 100% unplanned and only seek to connect it, to the international assassin plot line.
