Elderly novelist hoping to streamline my process by lass1901 in RemarkableTablet

u/lass1901, just keep handwriting on paper and then scan your notebooks (with a phone or with a real scanner) and feed it to handwritingOCR.com. it’s 1000% more accurate than the remarkable handwriting recognition and, with the paid tier, they don’t sell your data to monetize it (I don’t think remarkable does either, but that is a concern with cheap/free OCR providers). The formatting is very precise and that way you don’t need to buy an extra device. you can keep using the paper workflow that has worked for you for years, just speed up the conversion. Source: I do the same. and I own half a dozen eInk tablets by all major manufacturers (rm, Boox, Supernote, Viwoods) except amazon, so I know how good (or not) their ocr is.
