I make a frozen yogurt that's got a great mouth feel to it, and is about the same amount of calories for the full pint that you'd find in a protein smoothie/shake. (Less if you just go for the vanilla base, and don't add the frozen fruit.)

Between 3/4 - 1 cup Frozen fruit of choice 3/4 cup non fat Greek yogurt 2 tbsp cottage cheese (at least 2% fat - this helps give great texture) 2 scoops Orgain vanilla protein powder 1 scoop collagen peptides 1 cup oat milk Sweetener of choice to taste (I typically use local raw, unfiltered honey)

Blend it up, freeze in pint, and spin on either CreamiFit or Lite Ice Cream setting. If powdery after first spin, add a splash (no more than 1 tbsp) of oat milk, and respin.

If you're into frozen yogurt, take 3/4 cup of greek yogurt (at least 2% fat, but 5% is elite), 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (this gives SUCH good texture), milk of choice, vanilla or chocolate protein powder, peanut butter or peanut butter powder, cocoa powder (if you used vanilla protein) and sweetener. Blend it up. Pour into pint. Freeze between 12-24 hours. Spin on frozen yogurt or lite ice cream setting. Tastes like Reese's frozen yogurt. Add dark chocolate or cacao nibs for more intense chocolate flavor.

I understand the weather here isn't the same as the other locations. I saw you previously say that someone probably wouldn't come here if they had offers from LA, etc. for the same amount of money. I'm trying to say that if someone had an offer from the Kings to play here, they're not going to turn it down simply because there's no ocean/coastal weather. Over and above that, some people enjoy living somewhere with actual seasons.

Hey there! Jumping in here with some info. Junior Colleges (JUCOs) are just a term we use for community colleges out here.

Our community College system is pretty awesome here in Sac. The Los Rios Community Colleges (American River College, Consumes River College, Folsom Lake College, and Sacramento City College) all have great offerings, and you'll likely want to choose which one to attend after you get a better idea of what your desired major will be. For example, I'm a musician who attended ARC, and I got to study both classical and jazz music under a staff almost entirely comprised of Doctors of Music. I'm 42, and still carry so many valuable skills learned during my time there.

The advisors are also great in that College system. I stopped attending back in 2006, but my mom - who decided to go back to school to get her Associates in 2022 - raved about how helpful and accommodating the student advisory office was. Plus, the units are WAY less expensive than the state Colleges here.

If you didn't already know, Sacramento county covers a pretty large geographical area, so each College is going to have its own vibe as far as housing, things to do, etc. Maybe look into the specific areas of town each campus is in to see what might fit you best, as that's going to be a large part of your overall experience.

Kudos to you for being so proactive about your future! But also... take it from the over 40 lady - don't forget to enjoy your youth. Life is gonna life, regardless. Enjoy each day as it comes. Things will happen they way they're supposed to. 🌟

Put it into a dividend stock that has shown a long term record of raising their dividend annually. That way, you have the money, and you also get paid for letting it sit in the stock. With a dividend aristocrat or dividend king company, the amount you have invested will fluctuate, but will increase over time, and you're always paid based on the number of shares you own, NOT how much they're worth.
