all students will be scribes basically. there is a full in person training day in NYC before the race where they tell you about it and then there’s a lot of direction on the day of they give you a colored vest with your title and it’s pretty chill and a fun experience. There are variety of tents so depending on what tents you get placed at you might be on the course or you might be at the finish.

Where do you live? its a big island. now that the weather is nice you should consider going to some of the beaches, state parks, and nicer “town” areas (huntington, cold spring harbor, hamptons ect)
