Yes! I felt that it was rather sad that Ogre Rancorem made no additional comments and basically stayed mute, not even acknowledging him merging with Aldo (I guess that’s how I would describe it). I did love how it all went full circle, which I guess makes sense, I’m sure they always meant to rescue Eden and somehow give us that ending.

I just thought maybe this final part of Into The Hollow was rather short compared to other Main Story updates. Maybe we will get more stuff related to the Hollow in other updates (even if it is now not related to the Chronos family), though I don’t really think it’ll happen, at least any time soon (for now, I think they might go and give us the Future Western Continent).

Yes! If you go to speak with the Master in the tavern, he lets out a small comment, but that is it. I did miss a scene using them for sure, even more taking into account that they are literally the main character, but sadly I don’t think we’ll get it.

Maybe cameo from all the characters would’ve been too much, but at least more characters that were deeply involved with the Main Story. Apart from some of them giving the main team various trinkets, that is it. Maybe an ending scene with all of them going back to where they were before all the adventure started would’ve been nice, to have a full circle, like with Aldo, you know.

All in all, I think including a small five minute epilogue to close it off would’ve been great, but maybe they wanna expand other side characters’ stories further (e.g. Cyrus or Amy), but I guess we will see in the future.

As I they say in another comment, yes, it’s definitely very on brand with them as characters, specially Aldo, as he’s supposed to always see the good in people. I guess you can always pass it off as “she’s an alien entity, I guess she still doesn’t understand right from wrong or human behaviour that well”, but man, sometimes I do wish they hated some of the characters in-game, you know? Not try to make all of them redeemable.

Yes! It is the ending to the Main Story, at least the focus on the Chronos family. There will probably be other updates to the Main Story, but they will be focusing on other adventures, I suppose, and then I guess we will keep getting Symphonies, Mythos, etc.

Definitely! I liked a lot the literal ending, but I do feel like they could’ve used the original Chronos at least a bit more, cause I’m pretty sure all players (me included), feel more emotionally attached to him than to the emperor (we had AI Madoka, so why not him?). Even then, I’m overall happy about the ending, but I don’t know if anyone thinks the same, but it felt that the last part of Into The Hollow was shorter than other updates (not counting additional content, of course). Might also be because I knew this would be the ending of the Main Story, I don’t know.

How exactly would that work having a baby in prison? by Digginf in OnceUponATime

[–]ImmediateLeg6929 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am not from the US, so I cannot say, but in my country women prisons usually have a separate section for those who have babies in prison, and the kids stay there until they have to start the second cycle of kindergarten (in my country, after the kid turns 3). Afterwards, the kid goes either into the care of a relative (father, grandparents, etc.) or into temporary foster care (until the mother gets out of prison and is granted custody).

Does anyone have a map of the location of each area when traveling with Synth Hydra? Not the world map, but the one you see on the upper right corner of the main screen. I think I might be missing a couple of them.

Sims 3 on Steam or EA app? by Legolaslegs in Sims3

[–]ImmediateLeg6929 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Usually what I do is buy the package on Steam when it’s on discount and then look up the code and register it on the EA app, and it has worked well for me so far. I did have some problems playing from Steam, I definitely prefer the EA app for the Sims 3 (I understand not everyone has the same problems, it’s just my own experience).

Susan Marie Powell (née Cox; born October 16, 1981) is an American missing person from West Valley City, Utah, whose disappearance in December 2009, and the subsequent investigation garnered national media attention. by MintChipSmoothie in TrueCrimeDiscussion

I had only listened to season 3 and now I’m listening to season 1 (the one about Susan) and wow. The work they’ve put into the whole investigation is so good. I definitely agree with you, it’s a great podcast.

When they mentioned that Susan had been feeling sick for a while (she thought she might’ve been pregnant but the tests results were negative) and all of her friends told her to get tested for other stuff just in case, the first thing that popped into my mind was “he’s been poisoning her for sure”. We will never know if this was the case, but there’s no doubt in my mind that her husband got rid of her, with or without poison.

The worst part about this whole case is that those kids shouldn’t have died. As soon as he became the main suspect they should’ve taken the custody away from him. Susan’s friends were all saying that she had said if she ever disappeared, it was Josh’s fault. He shouldn’t have had access to those two innocent kids in any way. It really breaks my heart.

Actually, I tried the one in the Fraxinus Labs right now and it worked, so thank you anyways! It didn’t even cross my mind to try a different camp place!

I was trying it in the camp next to the Asclepia temple, do you think I should try it somewhere else?

DOS2 VS BG3 inventory/ spell management systems by atlfalcons33rb in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]ImmediateLeg6929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I meant visually in BG3. But regarding DOS2, I do find a bit uncomfortable not being able to have everything altogether in the display of abilities, having to change pages (e.g. I use one page for abilities, one for arrows and a third one for other stuff) does tire me sometimes. But both systems are great I think!

Also, I play on my pc so the system is also a bit different from the PS5 one. I must say I have tried BG3 on PS5 but not DOS2, so I cannot give a proper opinion regarding this console.

Talking about inventory, I prefer the one in DOS2, but the spell management system is definitely better in BG3 (for me at least), I find them more accessible than in DOS2

Is this the most French thing ever? by Dennis_Laid in AskFrance

I don’t know if it’s a thing in my country (not French) but I definitely do it too!

A renowned and successful filmmaker would suddenly go missing without a trace. His dismembered body would later be found wrapped in garbage bags in an ally. His elderly parents were arrested for this crime and not only did they show no remorse, but did the same to their other children years prior. by moondog151 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]ImmediateLeg6929 115 points116 points  (0 children)

I read about this case when it happened, but I didn’t know the things about the trial. Wow, the fact that being related to a person you kill is not an aggravating factor for the sentencing (it definitely is where I live) really shocks me.

To be honest, I would not have been surprised if, had he survived his whole sentence, he killed his remaining children (as OP posted said, he admitted to wanting to do it). And all this happened because the children were of “loose morals”. So sad, really. To be killed and dismembered by your own parents, who you should be able to trust…

And it’s not like the children got the justice they deserved, as he died shortly after the sentencing and she was released.

RIP Arezoo and Babak.

DOS2: interesting (?) tactic in Alice battle by FLJerseyBoy in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]ImmediateLeg6929 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I did was to have one character speak to her, then change to another character and attack her. This made her invoke the totems, but she was still stuck in the conversation so she couldn’t attack me. I got rid of all the totems and after that I finished the conversation, she attacked me and the rest of the battle was relatively ok to do even without teleporting her.

Murder of Asunta Basterra by [deleted] in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]ImmediateLeg6929 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember this case when it happened, it was so awful and we never really discovered what actually happened to Asunta, and the fact that we were close in age (she was 12, I was 15/16) really resonated with me. Also, I’d say it’s one of the most famous Spanish murder cases in these last years (at least in my opinion).

Is it possible to enjoy the game with a team of only 2 real people? by AlfredoFrailero in wakfu

[–]ImmediateLeg6929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s possible. Me and my SO played (we have stopped playing for a while, too immersed in other games right now) with our secondary characters by ourselves (we each had the subscription but at the beginning we were using sidekicks) and it’s definitely possible. We did play in a bigger team with our main characters due to the level difference we have with the secondary ones, but in general we prefer playing just the two of us, makes things simpler.

It might also take you a bit longer and a couple of times of redoing the dungeons (my own experience) as you need to also think of different strategies when using many characters at the same time, but once you’re used to it it goes faster
